This 3 Mobile Huawei E160G unit works well when the signal is good. XP users should have no problems installing - just plug and go! Just because it is sold as a broadband device doesn't mean users should expect cable performance - I get about 7.5kB/s average in a marginal area, peaks of 100kB/s or better. Good enough!
3 will tell you what coverage you have in your area - mine is marginal but still capable of 115 kB/s peak. The device does what it can! Using XP Pro installation was completely automatic and painless. User can buy 12 GB valid for 365 days pre-paid.
Documentation is fairly thin. Would be better if the unit came with a 3dB antenna.
