we went to hornsea potteries on Thursday with our local residents from lincolnshire.the name has changed but there is very few shops here.my daughter in law to be , wanted a dress for her wedding, may i add its the second wedding as she is divorced. we approached a lady who asked us what style, etc. we told her something elegant, not too fussy like the Ian Stewart dress that she had the first time around.the sales assistant laughed and said your not going to get a dress like that here...and was very abrupt. she then showed us very little in the way of dresses and told us more women are using bridesmaid gowns as there second choice.what utter nonsense.
we went away feeling not disillusioned about her big day , but what type of people run a wedding dress store like this.surely the manager needs to know.
very unhappy.
so manager/ retail adviser for the store, in the hornsea potteries called the wedding collection, please try a little staff training with the sales advisor because the only thing she advise us on was to go elsewhere.
