This company has horrendeous hidden admin fees, we have paid £150 to change the surmame name of a single person, they promise to get back to you without 48 hours and have they? Of course not! And judging by the other reviews on here we may not even get to go on this holiday if they don't hurry up and get it sorted, a simple name change should not take this long, especially with the amount of money they take as admin fee. Haven't been on my holiday yet but I'm very appalled about the transaction fees that I'm being charged, I paid my deposit last week and was charged £5, payday this week and thought ooooo perfect il pay some more off of my holiday seen as that's the sensible thing to do! I then got charged again. So far I'v been charged £10 in fees which it doesn't state on their website, infant it didn't state on the email recepit either but has just shown up on my online banking! Can't believe what we have just read, this website as helped restore my faith that we are not going insane. The way on the beach treat human beings is the worst conduct I have ever encountered in my life, I'm 51. Taking money out of our bank having cancelled the holiday it just really stinks. I booked my family holiday to Portugal as the flights seemed reasonable. The next day they called me to say that my flight prices had doubled adding £500 to the booking overnight. This is a disgrace. They hadn't updated the website with the new price. Blamed it on the airline. They represent the airline so should update their own website. I'm cancelling my credit card in case they try any tricks. Have to say the worst company so far for customer service, had a small typo on booking which i spotted after i confirmed booking, within seconds i was trying to get it changed. OTB do not answer phones live chat is a waste of space, when i got on live chat all they wanted was to charge me £10 and said maybe i should contact Ryan Air, what i thought you guys where doing that 8 hours ago, so i did contact Ryan Air via live chat within 3 minutes they corrected the typo no fuss no fee either… Read Full Review

Booked a holiday with On The Beach in May 2014, but wanted to change hotel. they didn't reply to our change request for 6 days and so we panicked and cancelled as the hotel was filthy! but obviously On The Beach didn't show us that.. we had to find that out ourselves. I have booked to go to Egypt in 2 weeks but due to FCO advisories being put in place in the majority of the country and specifically around Sharm I asked for my holiday to be transferred and I would fund any extra costs, but had a very rude customer service agent who firstly informed me there were no advisories in place in Egypt and then after I informed him he was wrong told me 'the UK is on high alert, it doesn't mean your going to move does it?'!!! Friend booked a week in Samos (flights and hotel), to be told that the payment hadn't gone through, although plenty of funds in his bank. I booked the incorrect hotel and within 10 minutes cancelled. OTB then took a further £40 I rang again and emailed and was told I would be refunded. OTB the went on to take a further £839.69 from my account. I rang and emailed numerous times. You will wait days for a return email if you are lucky enough to get a response. OMG Dont ever do business with this sham outfit they just pilfered your bank, even the fraud team at the bank said how cunning they are, I could explode with frustration, anyway got ABTA on there case, fancy just because they say there right show no evidence and then ask you to lie to your insurance company. They should be shut down.

I've booked with OTB three times now over the past four years, and each time I've gotten really annoyed. First time, I needed to make a change after I booked, and this was virtually impossible both online and getting through to CS on their premium rate number that nobody answers. Disgraceful. After months of waiting around for passenger changes and with no luck of getting through to customer services, we finally got through to find out that we had a total of £173 of underlying payments due. They told us that our total holiday booking was £325pp however they charged us £440 each. The messages that we had received from them were not clear. Not a hotel to relax in. So noisy all the time, restaurant unbearable. Staff not friendly or helpful. Definitely don't cater for people from United Kingdom. Daughter and I haven't used the hotel pool due to the constant noise. I stayed at a family resort with my grandchildren in Portugal and that was over 50% quieter than this hotel. “Absolute disgarce -sell holidays that dont exist !!”

Awful awful service - Do not use !! Twice we have booked a holiday , paid a deposit then 2 days later they call to cancel as holiday doesnt exist, they then want to increase price by over £400 for same holiday. Twice we declined to pay the extra so the booking becomes obsolete, however both times they have still debited the deposit originally paid to our bank account causing over drafts and bank charges.
