I can't tell you how disappointed I am with the terrible service this company hold. I tried to add a passenger on to my booking and it's been going on over 3 weeks now, no response to my messages!!! No answer to my calls!!! “very bad customer service”

I have traveled with on the beach a few times and have found them very good .however this is the first time there has been a mistake on my bookings and trying to get it amended is a nightmare have phoned twice taking 45 mins each time have messaged them twice no reply, have had live chats and was assured amendment would be done within 72 hours, 5 days later still no response. we fly in 3 weeks so getting a bit concerned . only one letter in christian name that's wrong how hard can it be.really… Read Full Review

“The chairman of this company should be ashamed!!!”

My partner and I Booked a holiday online to Ibiza in the May half term, paid extra for early flights and got the usual confirmation PENDING. Got an answerphone message next morning when I was at work to ring On the beach. Rang them as soon as I returned from work quoting my booking reference to be told there is a problem, they said that JET 2 had increased the price of the flight by £86 pounds each. I am absolutely appalled by the service given by this company. I have requested to add a extra person to my holiday and it has taken over a month to get a quote and I still haven't recieved the quote! I have spoke to various customer service agents on the phone after waiting 45mins +++ to get through to be told my quote will come the next day but still nothing, so complete lies!! I Have Travelled Abroad Many times in my life and must say that On The Beach have provided the WORST Customer Service i have ever experienced. We booked a holiday totalling over £800 but was cancelled as a Ryanair flight had been cancelled.After numerous phone calls,which cost a fortune,i was informed that our Holiday had been cancelled and we would not be getting our money back. Having entered the dates I wanted etc I chose my hotel and everything and got through the booking process. Just as I clicked confirm, I realised that the website had taken it upon itself to choose dates an entire week before I had stated and had now confirmed these dates. Seeing that they had a "48 hour" confirmation process I immediately tried to cancel my booking and move it to the dates I actually wanted. Me too! I was on hold for over 30 minutes until my phone ended up losing power! Tried the 'live chat our operators are waiting to take your call! Two hours later I switched my computer off. Still no response either by email or the live message I sent the next day. Seriously starting to worry if I have a holiday to go to on 17 June! How can I check?

Myself and 2 other paties have booked a holiday with On the Beach and we have had several urgent text messages from Monarch asking for us to contact our third party !!!!! I booked a holiday thinking we was going to magaluf but somehow ended up booking it 40 miles away on the other side of the island? I've tried ringing several times and there is no answer I've sent a hotel request change they send me 3 emails saying they have a back log and they will deal with it ASAP? Few days ago booked a girly holiday to turkey. Us girls getting all excited to then receive an email at 9.30om at night saying the flights had gone up. Shock horror this happened to be previous year. Ok by £20 each not to bad but I can't get hold of the other passengers to agree this is ok. Hi, it's disappointing to read that we were unable to confirm your booking for you at the price stated online, unfortunately, things like this can happen in the travel industry from time to time and are completely out of our control. When you place an order on our website and it states it can take up to 48 hours to confirm. This only happens on less than 5% of bookings and is the way all online travel agents work, however, I'm sorry this happened to you on this occasion. “holiday in Majorca.”

Just returned from a 4 day holiday in Majorca. Booking process was simple and quick to complete - Very straight forward. Ryanair flight was on time and comfortable. Transfer was good - after 1st coach wouldn't start another coach was found. Return transfer was excellent. On arrival at the hotel Villaconcha we were greeted very politely. Booked our family holiday then got called the next day to tell me our flights for the 6 of us had gone up by £250 and do I still want to go ahead. I said, we'll change flights to the other flight available because that was same price and same airport going out and different one coming in. Hi, when you place an order on our website, our system checks availability and then confirms it for you. Over 95% of our orders are confirmed straight away, however, if there is an issue with price or availability (airline's prices fluctuate several times a day), we won't take payment, we will call you and we will offer you an alternative. If you would like to confirm your booking straight away, the best way would be to speak to our sales team over the phone as there is no waiting around for your confirmation. Hope this helps - Emily

I booked flights to Alicante with two friends without booking hold luggage because we were confident after reading that onthebeach allows you to add extras later on if needed. Avoid On the beach at all costs. Their terms and conditions are shocking, they do not reply to your questions (via their manage your bookings option online) and have ripped us off because we made the mistake of paying for our holiday in full (but now need to cancel). First and last time I will use this company to book a holiday. A week after booking I asked to add a passenger to the holiday and 4 weeks later I am still waiting for a response. I managed to get through to an operator a week after I asked for the amendment after being on hold for 50 minutes, though the automated service told me there was a 20 minute wait.
