I bought my TomTom One from Halfords and I'm well impressed. Even if you don't ask it to tell you where you need to go it's still fascinating to see all those street names you never knew!

I purchased one at Christmas. First time using one and it was fantastic. However it developed a fault whilst I was in the middle of a journey which, had it not been for a friend who knew the area I was going to intimately, could have proved disastrous. I was able at my destination to reset it and s ...

My two month old TomTom One became very unreliable during the recent warm weather, although in an air-conditioned car with temperatures much less than the specified 50 degrees C, the TomTom One operation was very flaky, requiring many hardware resets. Eventually it lost the ability to lock on to GPS ...

I haven't bought the TomTom One but I've borrowed my Dad's for a trip I'm about to take. In the meantime, I thought I'd have a play with it. The interface is so easy to use I didn't even need to look at the instructions. I didn't borrow the CD so I cannot comment on the computer related stuff, do ...

Well, I brought this TomTom One from Halfords, after wanting to buy a more expensive Sat Nav. The guy told me real value for money and the Tomtom works fine. I had a little problem with downloading speed cameras on to my computer but sorted it out in the end with out help from customer service in ...

I bought the TomTom One in December 2005 after coming to rely on sat nav in my previous job as a car sales exec. I spent two days going around all the shops and searching the net to compare different Sat nav products and prices. I finally settled on the TomTom One because I personally found it to be ...

This is my first Sat Nav system - using one in a hire car in the USA conviced me I needed one! I was very impressed with how easy the TomTom 'One' is to set up - in 5 minutes I was using it. I have a car with a heated windscreen, but the unit had no problems in rapidly finding satellites. I haven ...

Apparently the Tom Tom One was brought out after the very popular Tom Tom Go 300, etc. I opted for the Tom Tom One rather than the Go 300 for the following reasons. (1) much slimmer more portable design, the Go 300 looked very boxy although cosmetically better, but I would find that hard putting i ...

I got the Tom Tom One for Christmas and at first glance it seems to do everything it needs to without being overloaded with features you'll never use. But when I downloaded the software update it didn't fit, I had to remove one of only two voices to get it in! The next update probably won't go on at ...
