I had this Motorola V66 mobile phone for about 4 months before it started going wrong. First my phone book entries stored on the phone kept disappearing and then it would not allow me to recieve text messages. Off it went to motorola for repair and it came back swiftly. Unfortunately even after Moto ...

I have many digital cell phones, including the Nokia's 8290, one of their most expensive, and yet wasn't as happy as I am now owning the Motorola v66. I love the quality of the unit, as well as the loud ringing. The Nokia ring tones are way too low.

Having lost my T68, i decided to purchase this Motorola V66 on my tight budget. It was good looking, had some attractive features and received a lot of respect. There are however some problems with the ergonomics and quality with the phone. While it served well in reliability and reception, it also ...

I've had a number of mobile phones in the last few years including some of the best models by Nokia and Siemens but no phone compares to the Motorola v66. This is the best phone I've ever had so far. I love the way the menu works. There is place for personal input and fine tuning it. The reception i ...

The Motorola V66 is a very stylish mobile phone. Having been a Nokia user all my life i fancied a change and this was the ONE! Excellent reception on the V66e on Orange (even in lifts!), no problem with texting, (i prefer to switch iTap off). No hanging on calls or wap browsing. As for ringtones, i ...

I am most disappointed with the performance of this mobile phone - I am on my 3rd Motorola V66 and faulty screens on my present phone mirrors the problem of my last V66 (both within 1 week of receipt). The first V66 phone simply got absolutely roasting hot and so I tried to turn it off (no success!) ...

Apart from text problems the Motorola v66 is not a bad mobile phone, but the text problem is a pain unfortunately.

Not had the phone long, so can't fully comment on the handset itself. Concern with the software is that the CD was for Windows 98 (Second Edition) and above... with no support for earlier machines! How do I back up my phone then??
