The flight to Majorca with Thomson Fly was pretty much on time (about 20 minutes late). The plane was clean, and the staff were friendly. Having a local departure point was also good! Unfortunately, you have to pay to sit together as a family. There were 5 of us, with 3 children. It cost us £4 ...

After writing a 3 page letter to Thomson Fly about the ordeal, I received £20 in compensation. I booked through Portland Direct and they passed the buck to Thomson Fly, who, very conveniently can not be contacted by phone. What a surprise!

I will never use either of them again.

Thomson Fly are excellent, and I always fly with them. I had a broken my foot a few weeks prior to the flight, and I had my cast removed the day I flew. However. I was still on crutches. As soon as I arrived at the airport, the check-in assistant could see my problem, and whisked me of to a direct c ...

My Thomson flight to Spain was not bad, and it wasn't their fault they were late, but overall, what you would expect from a holiday company?

I was expecting a 757-200 but got a bigger 767-200. The flight comfort was OK, but I sat in the middle which had bad legroom. I survived though!

    The fl ...

We requested extra leg room as I am 6' 4", and my wife had been been hurt in a fall and could not bend her leg easily. This was easily seen as her face was also covered in cuts an bruises. This was not given, and we were put on row 17 G/H (no recline seats), and on turning round 3/4 of the way home ...

We flew with Thomson Fly from Doncaster to Sanford. Both airports were small with limited facilities. The only problem with the airports was baggage reclaim at Doncaster, as we had to wait 45 minutes for passenger bags to appear, which is a little extreme considering ours was the only flight being u ...

My wife and I used the Thomson Fly airline to fly to the USA as part of a Princess Cruise. We upgraded, and the behaviour of the flight attendants was poor, the food was awful, and overall the experience has put me off the cruise company. Our subsequent complaint was treated with disdain.

Flew to Copper Mountain in Denver with Thomson Fly in March 2006. The flight was OK, and staff were OK, but there were NO DRINKS FOR CHILDREN. If you're taking children be prepared to pay for their drinks, unless they will happily drink water, and make sure you pre-book kids meals before you go, as ...

Lets face it, if you walked in to a car showroom and paid for a top of the range Mercedes, only to find that when you went to collect it, the sales team told you that they'd swapped your car for a Skoda favorite, but they were still obliged to charge you for the Mercedes, you be more than a little m ...

I have flown with Thomson Fly 12 times. Each time the flights are on average 1.5 hours late. We are not informed of how late the flight is until 10 minutes before departure! Also, Thomson do not have staff representatives at the airport; only on the plane. Their prices are not exactly cheap either.
