Well as a world war II buff and a keen airgun shooter I asked myself " what air rifle would german tiger tank ace Michael Wittman have used on the days when he wasnt blowing up russian T34's - answer: a Weihrach HW77.
This is the finest in german engineering built into an artillery piece of an air rifle - power, accuracy and you just know when you handle one for the first time that you will still be using this as your 1st choice rifle in 20 years time.
Ive had one on loan from a friend now… Read Full Review

Amazing gun. Amazing accuracy. Amazing reliabliliy. Brutally powerful. It's the bee's knees, only critisism is that it's heavy, but that's not a problem in the long rub, it does your arms good at least ;) LOVE IT!!… Read Full Review

Vey accurate. I owned a Webley patriot, a BSA Superstar and this HW77K and even though those other guns are fantastic, the HW77 I love because of it's accuracy and consistency shot to shot. The blueing is extremely professional. After owning this gun for over 4 years, it still looks new. If I have one complain, it would be the weight with a scope. But other than that, I would recommend this gun to anyone. You wont go wrong… Read Full Review

My 77 is 18 years old , it's been a consistently amazing weapon since purchase and has needed minimum maintainance throughout its life. Very accurate and effective for hunting in .22 , a little heavy but it's very well made and if you where to keep a few spare seals safe with a couple of spare springs I've no doubts that your descendents will be knocking off rabbits with your 77 in a hundred years or so - get one , keep it clean and it will be around forever.
The 77k (karbine) is every bit as… Read Full Review

Had my 77 carbine for 16+ years and its still as good now as when new, if not a little better, had the trigger refurbed and new spring and seals fitted, and this rifle is still a joy to shoot, 3/9/40 scope and dispatches rabbits at 25-30 yards easily. Can get tiring on long shoots due to weight but quality comes at a price, solid and dependable built to last forever… Read Full Review

I have had this rifle for around 15 years and fitted it with a walther 3-9x40 scope, the rifle being second hand when I purchased it. Apart from fitting a new main spring it has had nothing done to it.
It still shoots better than many of it's rivals. Power is constant at 12 ft/lbs and is a superd hunting rifle easily taking rabbits at 40 yards.
What more can you ask for from an air rifle ? build quality, accuracy, power, value for money this rifle has it all, overall a superb piece of kit.

The Weihrauch HW 77 K = THE BEST .22 HUNTING RIFLE. Yes quite a claim to live up to but boy oh boy it does and more ! The overall quality of this air rifle is unsurpassed by any other air rifle i`ve used or looked at (most of the sub £500 .22 a/r`s) this gun coupled with a top quality 3-9x40 scope will keep on hitting the target in 50p size groups from 30+ meters all day and used with the Weihrauch sound suppressor which mine came fitted with it makes a hell of a hunting gun which has cut a… Read Full Review

If Carlsberg made spring air rifles then this would be the one. Build quality and consistant accuracy . Yes it's heavy but it helps control recoil'and you can alway's attach a sling for hunting. Awesome rifle for the pest control of rabbits in .22 make sure you hold the under lever when loading pellets into the chamber if you like your fingers. Buy one you won't be disappointed… Read Full Review

Bought my HW77.22 cal back in 1985 with my first proper wage packet and was the envy of my mates who had standard guns at the time. The one thing against it was the fact it was hard to insert a sabot round due to the slidind mech but once you managed it there was no better round for accuracy and penetration. As said before the weight was high but the balance more than made up for it and when I moved from the UK, I sold it but always thought there was no better made rifle then and is still a top… Read Full Review

I bought my HW77 off a friend who has done a Maccarri V tune and downgraded the spring/power for FT shooting, it is the best springer I have ever owned, consistant 1 hole accuracy, very little recoil, easy to cock and a constant fps of 795 to 805.
Excellent German engineering, solid good quality Wallnut stock, its the only rifle I have that I cannot fault, even the heavy weight is made up for by the ballance.

I have owned my HW-77 for 10 years. It's a very accurate and powerful Air Rifle , and what I knew I wanted in a Air Rifle from shooting so much from a very young kid was a solid barrel ! and over time it make a heck of a difference . This is my favorite Air Rifle ever. And I have owned other's. I think the .177 cal can do a lot of damage if you have a good Rifle and strong enough air piston. I put a Scope on my Rifle and it just made it that much more fun. This Rifle has honed my… Read Full Review
