I have just had a similar experience with YES loans. We were offered £2,000 over 3 years at 28%. We got an official looking document from them confirming that 'we had been accepted' and we duly sent off the application with our £49.50

I also paid my £49-50 to YES Loans, then I found out they were only agents (brokers). I was offered a loan with Welcome Finance that was far removed from what they quoted at the top of the acceptance letter, that also asked for the fee. But all is not lost.

I have to agree with the other comments on this page. Yes Loans are not a good company to deal with. I approached them, but I am so glad I read this page before I completed the application.
