Both legs of my roundtrip flight Singapore - Kuching on AirAsia "have unfortunately been rescheduled" by ten hours earlier. I specifically chose the original times to allow for quick connections; now I have to rearrange my whole travel plan. When I spoke to the AirAsia agent and asked if they could do anything, the agent said that it was a management decision and I can cancel my flight and use the credit within 3 months. I will take a flight from Macau to Perth in July. They cancelled the flight for a "management requirement" from Macau to Malaysia and put me to the next flight. No compensation. Not clear explanation. No guarantee they will not change again. So based on the other comments on Air Asia, it is clear they change your flights all the time. The best airline experience. Flight was on time. It was cheap compare to other airlines I looked at. We flew from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. Flight was delayed going out of Kuala Lumpur but was early landing in Singapore. Cabin crew and check-in crews were really friendly and very energetic. They are a budget airline but they acted very professional and very high class. The seats are leather upholstered seats which I like, but they seem a little bit small. Air Asia is worth your money! Numerous emails and phone calls were made to try and resolve the situation with no success. Missed my holiday with my mates and now can't get my money back. They refuse to reply. Can't give review a 0 but that's what they deserve.

I have flow AA before, and the service is not good. Rude ground and aircrews were common. Food is OK, seat is quite cramped. The most annoying thing is the delay and worse, cancellation of flights.

Travelled from Australia to Kuala Lumpur and back with Air Asia. Checking in was a terrible experience. Waiting in a crowded budget terminal for close to an hour just waiting in line to check-in. I've flown with Air Asia a number of times both within Thailand and to Cambodia from Chiang Mai via KL. I have to admit that in ALL cases the reason that I've used them is because of cheapness in comparison to the alternatives. I found this review very helpful because I was planning to save a few bob and fly air asia, but it doesn't sound as though it's a good investment- quite the opposite really! These comments and the others are very eye opening about this budget airline.

Never again, flew with AA from PER-BKK return. Our BKK-KL flight was canceled but no one bothered to notify us of the change, we were simply taken off the list and not re-scheduled on another flight. It was only by accident I picked this up because AA didn't contact us at all even though they had our contact details. It is important to mention that this was a returning flight and therefore it was AirAsia Airlines to send me back to the originating country, which according to international law they are supposed to fulfill. Well, it is undoubtedly that everyone that has flown Air Asia only does this for reason of price.
<br/>It is uncomfortable, and it is unreliable, and customer service is indeed not existing - these are facts.
<br/>Everyone has a choice to pay for what he wants to get, but comfort or assigning 5 stars to an Air Asia flying experience, I doubt it. This comment must be paid for ... ;-)

I found this review not helpful because in my experience of flying with Air Asia (12 times in 3 years) it presents a totally inaccurate view of the airline and its service. Praising an ailine for the newness of it's planes is like buying a Totota with a sticky throttle pedal, looks fine but you do wonder if they've checked the speed sensors onboard their Airbus A330's as Air France apparently failed to. You may be comfortable with you life in the hands of a 19 year old, mini skirted, trolley dolly but when the thing crashes I'd prefer to be on board a Quantas plane with Quantas trained cabin crew any day. To suggest that it is unecessary to inform customers who have boked 10 months earlier that the flights that they booked have been re-timed causing them to miss the connection is absurd, equally I suggest that it is vitally necessary that announcements made on board the plane are audible which they were not on the occasion I flew with them from KL to Stansted. This company teaches nobody how to run an Airline rather it shows how it can pander to a small but unthinking section of the public who think of one thing only , the deeply discounted and often unobtainable headline price. This airline deserves to fail and as soon as there is a regime change in Malaysia it will. The aviation world does not need another Michael O'Leary.

Ground service extremely bad and in mess. Nobody coordinating the work flow resemble poor management with poor leadership in operation. Poor work force quality makes me doubt if the air craft is checked properly for my flight, and are they really trying to make everyone can fly freely in the sky. I have flown many times over the past two years and am finally fed up with the poor service from this airline. Air Asia seem to be late more often than not, and appear only interested in extracting money. There is no value from flying with this airline, you are better off flying paying slightly more for a fare (where everything is included) from another airline that actually understands customer service. PER-KL-STN.
PER - KL - PER was on Airbus 330, the seats are essentially 3 inch foam, the back support does not recline but instead the bottom seat cushion moves forward by about 2 inches - do not expect a comfortable recline.
