I had heard a lot of good stuff about Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals but after trying it myself I was really disappointed. I have normal / combination skin and it didn't really do me any favours. I personally don't really think it's worth the money.

I'm 22 and have always had very good skin. Bare minerals dried my skin. If there is any patch of dry skin on your face, bare minerals will cling to it and show it up. Bare minerals makes your pores show up and accentuates fine lines

I purchased both the face & eye kit. The face kit powder is messy, even with the tapping, the powder flies. I can't see why you would need 3 different powders to complete your look anyway. As for the eye kit, it is a total waste of money. The liner is hard to apply if you don't use the water. I ...

I see everyone complaining about this, but it made my skin look fantastic! It doesn't make my skin look oily. It stays on ALL day! I love it!

I keep wanting to be able to use this product. But everytime I try it just does not produce a flattering effect.
Now I use my regular Chanel makeup, and use the mineral veil to set that makeup. That is all it is good for.

Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals is messy, the loose powder no matter how careful you are tends to get all over the counter. My pores seemed to show up maybe more or about the same as liquid foundation.The color matches of product to complexion could have more choices.

Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals foundation is nowhere near perfect, but it is a good idea if you don't like to wear a lot of foundation. So disappointed paid a wack for the brushes and makeup blusher eye shadows etc but after two days skin became inflamed red and felt like it was burning. I had to stop using it, then my skin started peeling off like having a chemical peel.

I want to look younger not older, it seemed to me after about two hours my wrinkles looked 3x worse than prior to putting on any makeup. ....I'm only 31 years old
