Don't use Travel Republic, they are not nice to deal with if you have a complaint. I am talking with ABTA at the moment about getting justice. Use Last Minute or Travelocity.

I wrote to this company informing them that I was unable to travel on the date booked. They did not reply, instead they just sent tickets, which I returned to them the day I received them. I have had no personal communication from Travel Republic despite two letters.

Try them. Car hire is very good on price, with none of this extra for a full tank of fuel rubbish that you struggle to empty, so return free fuel back to the car hire company. Seems you simply return full, which is much better. Care - I recommend you take the full collision damage waiver from Tra ...

Would never use Travel Republic again. I had to cancel our holiday due to unforeseen circumstances. The telephonist I was speaking to thought she had put me on hold while she checked for any cancellation fees. They let me down badly. I booked a Hotel in Rhodes for Two weeks (May 2006), and when they confirmed the booking I separately booked the Flights. I booked our flights in December 2005 for travel in August 2006, and I paid in full.

I was issued an email no frills receipt and ticket in Dec 2005.

The outbound was fine.

The return time on the "ticket" stated flight leaves at 18:50. We arrived at 17:00, but the flight actually left at 16: ...

We had a few issues ourselves, and they were extremely helpful each time I telephoned. When I emailed I got an immediate reply, and when we had a last minute change of address, Travel Republic were equally efficient.

We were pleased and had no problems at all.

They are definitely very cheap but we have always found them very friendly and efficient in sorting out any issues. We did have a problem last year when we missed our flight home but they sorted everything out fantastically.
