Toucan are part of Tiscali (IDT communications) I think, the point being that they are much worse! I have complained to Advertising Standards Agency, Trading standards and even my local MP, they have not broken the law as yet but have not acted in good faith or spirit with there "unlimited" Broadban ...

I am extremely disappointed with Toucan. The speeds are appalling, the customer support is hard to understand. I love the part when you call to complain and are on the phone for 30 mins telling them how disappointed you are with the service, they end the call by saying, "Thank you for calling Toucan ...

I rang technical support [30 pence per minute] and was told to do speed tests for a couple of days and let them know. I did this and rang back to be told ...

The most recent assault from them involves their failure to execute the most recent direct debit. They then began "reminding" me of "my" failure to pay. When I contacted them (it took se ...

I think it would be very helpful if people read the terms and conditions before subscribing to a service. After a bad experience with NTL I read the Toucan terms and conditions back to back before proceeding with the service, and although I am not happy with the fair usage policy,I was well aware of ...

I have recently migrated to Toucan from another ISP. My transfer date and so called "GO LIVE" was February 25th 2006. The installation pack and modem should have arrived within a few days of that, but I am still waiting. I have contacted Toucan on numerous occasions and just keep getting passed from ...

Toucan sell their broadband as having unlimited downloads. I can confirm, like many others that this is not the case.
I received an email telling me that I was in breach of the fair usage policy by allegedly being a heavy down and uploader during peak periods. I was advised to avoid downloading l ...

I too have had many issues with Toucan. The best way to take any action is to lodge your concerns with ofcom.org.

If you want unlimited 2Mb broadband I would not recommend Toucan. I signed up over the phone, and specifically asked if there were any download restrictions, to which I was advised there were none. Which was incorrect, as I have since discovered that they have a Fair Usage Policy that is set at 3Gb ...
