“Disgustingly Poor Service”

I ordered a number of golf clothing from here and paid for the next day delivery. The next day nothing came so I rang the day after and all they could say was that one of the items was not in and thats why it hadnt been delivered! They could have called me to tell me but theye didnt! The gentleman then promised and assured me that the items would be delivered the next day. RE: golf trousers. I'd be willing to bet they are from a batch of Ashworth clearance? They came in labelled incorrectly (probably why they are on clearance!) - we sold them based on our standard sizing, rather than the incorrect label, to try and make things easier.

I have used SportsHQ a number of times over the last few years and my golf clubs are from Forgan. I have used them on a number of occasions without any problems but have never written a review on them. I suppose it easier to write a poor review than a good one. You're obviously the lucky one then. I have had nothing but problems, broken wheels, snapped axle, electrical fault and now this weekend the frame has snapped above one if the wheels. I could tell you the tales of woe of dealing with the customer support team as well as various managers, the replacement wheels were used! The 6 weeks it ooh or them to pick up the trolley etc etc etc. I've e mailed hem again. In oral since November 2011 I've used the trolley maybe 80 times and feel utterly ripped off.

Have tried phoning Sportshq.com and Forgan Golf (same company and phone number), you can't get through to anyone other than recorded message. No-one answers. Their online chat doesn't work either! “useless liers”

ordered 4 5kg weight plates that were suposedly in stock, about 10 days later i got a phone call sayin they wont be in stock for another week and do i mind waiting ? i said no as im quite patient two weeks later they still had not turned up so i asked them what the problem was and they said they had tryed to deliver twice and left 2 notes. this was a pack of lies as someone was in the house the whole time and no notes were posted. never use this company they are a joke… Read Full Review

Sorry about these problems, I'd like to try and help you.

We use a courier for delivery, and we can only work off the information they give us. I know that's not ideal, but that's what we have to do. There's no reason for us to lie to you - it only causes us more work, frustrates our customers, and doesn't achieve anything useful!

I'm concerned that you had to wait 10 days for a notification about an out of stock - that is not acceptable and I apologise.

Would you mind sharing your order number so I can look into what's gone on here?

I ordered a Kettle Bell and paid for next day delivery and I was assured it would be here. By the end of the day it had not turned up, I rung the company one said they delivered till 6pm, the other that it had not been despatched and I missed the cut-off period. They said the cut-off period is 1pm, I ordered it at just after 3pm and on their website it says 4pm. When I spoke to them it seemed like they were not the least bit interested. Hello, And thank you for this response which is rather too little and too late help for me.

You will see from below that it was only after contacting your CEO that I finally obtained a satisfactory solution to all of my problems.

Earlier this month I have been sent s brand new battery pack and charger which of course has now satisfied my complaint as the bike is now working fine thank you.

It is just a shame that I had to bother your CEO in order to finally put my concerns to bed.

Dear Sir,
Good morning and I hope that you do not mind me contacting you but I feel that I am not receiving the level of service that I expect from your staff at The Sports HQ and I am turning to you out of sheer frustration.
I am certain that you would also be interested in knowing about any customers who are unhappy with the levels of service from your Company.

I purchased a Cyclomatic Electric Bike on 17th October 2010 from your Company. Since then I have had 4 faulty chargers and the battery pack failed which your staff acknowledged on 19th October 2012:

"Hello, Thank you for your response.
Your original battery and charger failed the tests, so we are sending you a replacement battery and charger."

The offer was fine except that the replacement charger which was sent back was obviously far older than the one I sent in which had only been used for up to 100 miles. The faulty Battery Pack I sent to your Company was in pristine condition whereas the one I got back was obviously much older, badly marked and scuffed. Because I was getting nowhere with customer services I have chosen to take the following actions out of sheer frustration...

1. Start a website

2.. Start a blog

3. Do a You Tube post

4. Give 21 days notice of my intention to turn to the Small Claims Court for recompense.

All of the above actions can be either dissolved or avoided with help from you for me to achieve a fully working bike with either a new/nearly new fully functioning battery pack comparable in the usage and condition of the faulty pack I returned to your company. This action would further need to be the reason why the bike kept cutting out on me so I have a fully functioning electric bike

There are some 24 E. Mails to and from your Company in respect of my problems, but my most recent are below which will give you some idea of my problems.

Please help me resolve this matter.

Dont know where to start really. Bought a stowmatic golf trolley for my partner in November, the wheel cracked only months later. The company sent us a replacement, also cracked. "Bad everything"

I wished i read the review above before buying from SportHQ. They are terrible with everything, they dont call customers regarding any issues they are having with the goods you ordered, you have to call them everyday and even when they arrange your delivery, you spend days waiting as if you dont have anything to do. They are unliable and dont care about their customers.
If you want to buy anything from them, please look for it somewhere else or else you will regret it. I will never order from them again.

Bought a golf trolley last year, trolley lasted all of 11 months and then sportsplc denied all knowledge of supplying the trolley. Eventually they gave in and then offered to repair the trolley only for them to somehow lose the trolley.
