“Horrible Hosting Service - Great Support Staff”

Their no frills package is certainly low cost and attractive, but once you join you quickly find out the small print makes it a scam. As a private individual, if you want to opt out of whois - you pay ££ If you want to send a newsletter to more than a few users - you pay ££ (if you don't they suspend your account for 24hrs) ...etc. etc.... “Constant problems with 123-reg”

Every few minutes of every day for the last month the system has crashed with 'error reports', 'you have timed out' messages (after about 90 seconds of logging-in for the 100th time...) “AWFUL been hacked twice”

I would avoid like the plague, their service has been terrible from start to finish, when first talking to the help desk the guy that answered sounded asleep and knew less than me and did nothing the next guy told me it was not possible to hack my website which was what had happened. “Helpfull support team”

This was the first time i had to deal with an issue from 123-reg. Knowing what most support centre waiting times are like, i was expecting to be on hold for a long time. This however was not the case. The phone was answered promptly and was passed further on to the support centre quickly. Andrew was the name of the gentlemen who dealt with this query and he was most helpful. He was polite, professional and dealt with everything. This is the way support centres should be. I have been with 123-reg for over 5 years and am extremely satisfied with service support and quick resolution of any problem. “Good Hosting Company”

I am very pleased with the overall service 123-Reg have provided. They give you a very simple set up package with lots of support on their website. I was nervous about having no telephone number for support, but can't fault their quick reply to my email support ticket and the fault was rectified straight away. Went with them on there full package, found them to be good at first then went with there e-commerce package big mistake you cant upload anything easily spent weeks uploading our 250+ products then found some we cant even put up because we are limited to the amount of versifications you can make even on there top package there ebay upload is a joke only works if your product is simple no different sizes or colours. we have lost so much bussiness to them its unreal go with someone better like… Read Full Review

“123 Reg and Pipex = Poor Service”

When I first started using 123REG they were great, no complaints whatsover and I always recommended them. BUT, and this is a big but, since being taken over by Pipex I have found their service to be very poor indeed. The time taken for 123REG to register my most recent domain was rediculous, and there are many customers with the same problem. “Would not register my domains - but took my money!”

I ended up talking to about 3 people (not in real life - you can't unless you are about to cancel a service). I raised tickets. I used online chat. 4 days later the domains still had not been registered for me. No amount of pestering / emails etc from me worked. They just did not care. I found the service to be faultless. I am not a technically minded person and struggled until I contacted the support team. Excellent service. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been using 123-Reg for a very long time with a number of different clients. I have always found the service received to be above what you get from your average Registrar/Hosting company. They go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the service you pay for! Setup is easy and very intuitive with their control panel, unlike some hosts I have used. “Long term user of domain hosting - added email”

I have had personal domains registered with them for a good number of years now, and recently added a couple of mailboxes after finding the ones that my ISP (Sky) were not great. had excellent service and support from 123 reg, why would any-one employ a website designer when you can do it yourself with 123 reg support, I knew nothing about websites, but ours is up and running without a hitch and the best bit, we have full control instead of having to ring to get some-one to change it we can do it ourselves.
