Love the new roses as I ADORE the caramel with the hazelnuts inside in the purple wrapper. Plenty of creams if you like them yummy, not all that cheap and nasty praline stuff that everyone else seems to put in their boxes of chocolates !!!!!!!!!! I'll be buying them always and I have found they do the purple wrapper caramel and hazelnut centre in the Cadbury's shops, fantastic now I can buy exactly what I want and love… Read Full Review

I cant believe they're coated in Cadburys chocolate. It tastes hard and cheap and the melt in the mouth of cadburys is missing. The centres are very samey, loads have runny toffee, and the hard toffee ones no longer seem to taste of much. Really dull selection, so even if they tasted better nobody would want one of these boring chocs. No wonder they sell so cheaply, will never ever buy again, what was once a big treat is now unwanted and will end up in the bin. I may buy a little bar of… Read Full Review

RUBBISH! We get bought cadburys roses every year off our employer because they are cheap, but next year we will be requesting mini heroes or celebrations, but definitely not roses. Once the hazelnut whirl, mini chocolate block,& the brazillian darkness have gone we can't give them away or get rid of them fast enough we've even had to resort to sharing them with visitors just to get rid of them, they're rotten. PLEASE bring back the old selection, do you really need three runny caramels which… Read Full Review

Can I give no stars? Roses chocolates are now so appalling they should be withdrawn... They are such poor quality with many decent chocolates missing like bourneville and praline crisp. The chocolate outer coating is very cheap and nasty containing a soya derivitive. For all of those that have a problem with soya and its affects having some rose's chocolates may well put you of chocolate for life.
Summary: Poor quality chocolate, poor quality fillings all chemicals and sugar, poor taste… Read Full Review

I will never buy Cadbury Roses again, they taste dreadful now. I would rate them as zero stars if I could. In fact I intend to steer clear of all Cadbury chocolate from now on. We bought some Herseys chocolate in New York and it was horrible, Cabbury's now tastes as bad… Read Full Review

I never thought I would see that day when I extolled Quality Street over Roses but that day is here. 'Got a tin of these from a workmate at Xmas. Exteriorly the tin look ok. But just don't open it and keep thinking nothing has changed. It has. Sickly. Un-subtle flavours .. in fact most taste the same as each other ... the texture, the chocolates themselves are mere shadows of what used to be the best of the 'bulk choccies' ... now.. you must buy in following order and NEVER ... I repeat NEVER… Read Full Review

I thought I was lucky when I was able to purchase probably one of the last tins of Roses in Northampton. Well, I thought wrong. What a disaster. This is the first tin of Roses I've bought for years but it will certainly be the last. I agree with all the previous comments: the standards have not just dropped; they have disappeared entirely. The quality of these chocolates - I am not actually sure if they deserve to be called chocolates - is appalling. The person or people responsible for… Read Full Review

The poor quality is what happens when a company is bought out by another. The new owners not only want their money back but a profit as well. I am now buying much tastier chocolates from the largest British chocolate firm.
The one star is only because you cannot give none… Read Full Review

Roses always wins the Roses Vs Quality Street choice in my household... NOT ANYMORE!!!
1) Only 4 Hazel Nut whirls in the whole tin (and very little nuts in those too)
2) Unacceptable number of opened chocolates in the tin
3) Lack of variety with 3 different types of caramel centres!
4) Brazilian Darkness and Caramel (blue wrapper) used to be a chunky square chocolate and is still shown as being so, on the tin, but are only half the size!!
5) No old favorites such as coconut, bournville and… Read Full Review

So dissapointed. Bought a 'cheap' £5 tin and to be honest the contents do not even deserve the word cheap, disgusting is more the word. Gone are the Coffee Creams, Bournville, Coconut and Praline, replaced with garbage caramel that tastes of nothing but molten sugar. No difference in taste between the orange and strawberry creams, hazelnut whirl with no nuts and just a nasty after taste with all. Portions are bigger but more sickly and just taste wrong.
The only thing 'Cadburys' about this tin… Read Full Review

I Have just purchased a tin of Rose, I am very dissapointed!!! all of the old favorites have gone. Why have cadburys changed these firm favourites. There's mostly the same centres and taste very sickly. I would rather pay a bit more and have quality and not the cheap nasty sweet veraity they have now. I most definitely wouldn't recomend roses to anyone… Read Full Review
