The Nissan 2002 Maxima SE is the greatest car for the money. Beats BMW 330 in every category for thousands less and I'll take 255 horsepower anytime. Maxima boasts one of the best engines in the world for the last 20 years.
If you are 6 feet or taller don't get the power seat because it doesn't s ...

My 1999 Nissan Maxima lease is expiring and I spoke with a salesman at Nissan and asked about the Altima vs Maxima. The Altima is bigger and better because it is replacing the market niche of the Maxima. Maxima is getting bigger to compete with Toyota Avalon type cars. Although Altima is now Maxim ...

Dan, get a grip man. Sure, the altima has just undergone a massive revamping but it comes nowhere close to the Maxima. Trust me, i've owned a maxima since they were called Datsun 810's and every time i went to get a new maxima i've looked at the altima's. I just got my 2002 Maxima SE today in 6 sp ...

Hey guys leave 'ol poor DAN alone. To his credit the Altima is a great car. It looks great, it performs well even with the 2.5 liter engine.
On the other hand the Maxima is at a whole other level. The Altima will push the envelope with the likes of Camrys and Accords; in fact, it might just change ...

4 weeks and 1700 miles into my Nissan 2002 Maxima SE (Gray Lustre with Frost interior) and I love this car! For only US$23,500 I don't know of any other vehicle you can get with this much power, this many features with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION! Below are the comparisons I did personally before buying ...

Had the 02 Nissan Maxima SE for two months. Tried the so-called best ie Audi/BMW 3 Series/Mercedes M Class.
Of course by price alone they shouldn't be compared to a Max. Yes, for $10 - $20K more I could have a logo on the car that tells everyone that I've made it financially, and no longer have to ...
