Nintendo - you have messed up AGAIN! this time with the Gamecube (GC)! Rather than use DVDs like the other consoles, the GC uses tiny CDs the size of a digestive biscuit. This means you can't play music CDs or DVDs in the drive. Why Nintendo? WHY?! Just like the N64's cartridges in an age of CD tech ...

I recently bought myself a Nintendo Gamecube and didn't really think it was going to be nearly as good as I thought. By far, the Gamecube has much better graphics than the PS2 considering I own a PS2 and I can see the difference between some of the games out on both consoles. People think that the ...

Over all the system is nice, if the PS-2 and GameCube were the same price, then I am still not giving up the PS2, Due to the amout of games the ps2 has, and the ones it has!

If you want a genuine gaming machine for gamers, buy GAMECUBE. If you want a multi-function "does a thousand things none of them particularly well or quickly" machine get an x-box or ps2.
There isn't room enough here to tell you fully how much I prefer my GC to the other consoles I've owned (sold b ...

The Gamecube might not be right for everybody. If you want Grand Theft Auto, Halflife or Deus Ex your looking in the wrong place. The Gamecube however has a range of fantastic exclusive titles such as Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness and Zelda (don't let the cartoonish graphics put you off).

    A ...

OK well I've had the gamecube almost since it came out. Technically it is a very capable machine, faster procceor than PS2 and better graphics chip, although just outshined by the xbox technically it is still a very powerful machine. I previously owned a PSone and a natural move was for me to go ont ...

Those little Gamecube discs just do not hold as much stuff as full size dvd discs. The system is small and weak. Mario was cool when I was like 13 but I grew up and Nintendo Hasn't. This system is good for kids, which is Nintendo's main Fan base. I will buy one someday. I just bought a N64 a month a ...

The Nintendo Gamecube is underpowered and can not get on the net for online gaming. Has No DVD player and No Harddrive. Microsoft leads all these groups with being in the computer bussiness so long.(Since I played Black Thorn, midtown madness, motorcross madness and so many others on line with my co ...

No DVD player, graphics are the overall worst out of ps2 and xbox, little kid video games, the controllers are strange, the console looks like a barney lunchbox, the game discs are easy to lose, just take my word for it and dont buy it, do yourself a favor and get an xbox.

The GameCube might have some power but not nearly enough to beat other consoles such as the PS2 or the XBox. It reminds me of a toy I used to own.
