So, here is a little bit about me. I am an avid traveller, you name it, I've been there, or want to go there. Travelling abroad is one of my main passions in life. I can hardly believe all the negative reviews. My family have several Tripp suitcases bought at Debenhams and we love them. The only complaint is we have is that one particular style and size which I would love to buy again no longer seems to be part of any range… Read Full Review

Dissappointing. I bought my large suitcase in the Debenhams sale for £42. Reduced from £110 but to be honest I've never seen them at full price - think this may be a marketing ploy. Anyhow after returning from my 1st trip abroad I discovered the plastic casing on the frame had come away on the outside leaving it exposed and vulnerable to breakage on my next trip. I returned the suitcase to Debenhams where they refunded it. Probably won't buy again!… Read Full Review

I have only travelled twice with this bag and so cannot comment on its durability, however, the ****** thing keeps falling over! The four wheels are impractical for two reasons, firstly it makes the bag really unstable, I was constantly picking it up from its fall, once the bag was heavy the second not so much, so it's not a weight/imbalance issue. Secondly, they are unecessary, two wheels and two 'rests' works far better and reduces the bag's height dimensions also (an important factor if… Read Full Review

I am very happy with my new Tripp cabin bag! I had spent the best part of last weekend looking up and down the high street for something of similar quality but they were all 30% more expensive than what I found online. I was initially a little bit nervous of ordering it having not actually seen the bag, but I really am pleased with what I have been sent. It's nice and light with a good handle, wheels and pockets! Well recommend, just got to use it now lol… Read Full Review

i bought a tripp suitcase about two years ago, it's lock broke on the first trip, then the lining started coming away, the wheels kept locking, and now the handle won't come up so i can't even pull it along! such a shame as it was a handy size and had 4 wheels which i found really useful… Read Full Review

I bought a Tripp Voyage Cabin Suitcase when I found out there was a size limitation on our cabin luggage. I typically found this out only a week before we were due to leave, so I had to find one relatively fast! I guess I choose the Tripp voyage cabin suitcase because of the way it looked and the reputation of the brand for quality luggage. After ordering from their website I did start to question whether I needed to spend that much on a suitcase, but later found it to be well worth the… Read Full Review

Bought a trip case over a year ago - on its 3rd use, the zip on the front pocket appeared to be broken. I sent an enquiry to tripp's website and within minutes got email responses back - all I had to do was take it into the store I purchsed it for an inspection - when I did the next day, the store agreed it was a manufacturing fault with the zip and offered me an immediate replacement. Only disappointment is that they no longer make the same model of case I had (which was great on features… Read Full Review

On arrival at holiday destination it was raining. Waited under a bus shelter with case on seat and had a 5 minute walk the other end in the rain. When I opened the case in the hotel the rain had seeped in all around the zip, onto the lining and my clothes. Tripp will only do something if there is a manufacturing fault - but this seems to be a design fault so I shall be looking for a new case which will not be a Tripp. Someone should tell you whether to expect waterproof or not… Read Full Review

I have not been very happy with the quality of my suitcase. On using it for my first flight, the handle broke before I even got the suitcase to my car and by then it was too late to swap all my clothes to another one so had to resort to opening up my suitcase to get the handle to fold down when I got to the airport. Not particulary practical and easy to use! On arriving home, I went to Debenhams to discuss it and recently got round to changing it. They do not fix the suitcases so I had to… Read Full Review

I always presumed Tripp would be expensive, but after reading these reviews I decided to check out the website. I was delighted to find that there was 70% off the 'express rose' suitcase I wanted, I got it for £42.00!! It arrived within two days of ordering and looks fab and like it will probably be hard wearing. Good to see that they have Jasper Conran luggage as well, I love the tote bags and am hoping hubby will treat me for xmas.
All in all, nothing to complain about… Read Full Review

I recently contacted Tripp Luggage Direct to place an order as for some reason their website kept freezing. I called more then 20 times to get through, but when I did the customer service advisor stated that they were very busy and had to call me back later on when things quiet down. I was so shocked to hear this, you would of thought a company like Tripp would have more staff to help, not only that, but in this period in life, where money is a problem, and everyone is worried about it, they… Read Full Review

Tripp material is not durable and after the outward bound flight of my recent trip it is useless. Debenhams say it is my fault. The bag was never even the aircraft hold.

The Tripp I went to had a large range of cases. I didn't really know what to go for but the assistant really knew what she was talking about.
The service didn't end after I made my purchase though, after I had paid she asked me if I'd like to collect the case later in the day rather than lug it around town. Brilliant… Read Full Review

Great customer service advisor's and absolutely fantastic attitude towards customer service. I purchased a suitcase approximately 4 years ago and one of the wheels came off, I called the call customer service just to see if the company offered repair services and to my amazement I was informed that I could take the product for an inspection to which a decision would be made whether the fault was manufacturing fault or airline damage. I was delighted because the inspection was arranged in less… Read Full Review
