I will be looking elsewhere next year, because of premium inflation upon renewal of my AA car insurance. Initially I received a good quote with a discount, but when it came to renew, the price went up. I received a discount the year before, but when I came to renew the original discount did not coun ...

The AA offer good, "honest" car insurance. There is no dodgy small print. And I have always received a friendly service. They are not the cheapest, but they offer a low excess and there is a discount given to AA members.

The cover is very good for what we get. The quote was the cheapest. The customer service could have been a bit better. I felt that they thought I was a bit thick at times.

The AA have got really good policies for car insurance and breakdown!

They provided me with the cheapest quote. They act as an intermediary, and the insurance taken is with Equity Red Star.

Surprisingly, the AA were £50 cheaper for me, for the same car insurance cover as I was quoted elsewhere. I also chose to pay by installments, and again, the charges a ...

Initially, AA car insurance got the wrong details on the insurance policy they sent me, despite having them correct over the phone and repeating them back to me. At this point they made me provide evidence of no claims (you can bet they check anyway so why make me provide them?) with a series of le ...

My car was parked on a car park when another driver reversed into me severely damaging my rear end! I could still drive it home, and two days later the AA dropped off a courtesy car and collected mine to take to my local garage (even though it was not on their approved list of repairers). The work w ...

I had been with the AA since passing my test, and I had my car insurance with them and had breakdown cover, parts, labour and tyre insurance. All in all they had a few pennies out of me. I never had to make a claim on my car insurance, although I did make a claim on the tyre insurance. When I called ...

I was in an accident on the way to work. the other driver was 100% liable. I work 20 miles from my house in the middle of the country side, there is no chance of getting public transport due to the location of work. That is why I specifically requested and paid extra for the courtesy car.

    When I ...

AA Car Insurance -I have never had much luck with cars and through no fault of my own I have been unable to accrue any no claims bonus. I have had 2 Cars stolen and 3 accidents (non whilst I was driving and 2 of them the car was parked up). It has therefore become a nightmare trying to get cheap f ...

Although the AA are a brokerage it is actually cheaper to get insurance with them than going direct. I was with Churchill and received a renewal premium that seemed reasonable as it included a customer loyalty discount. I decided to shop around to compare prices anyway and went to the AA. They did g ...
