Appalling service from pet supermarket! We have been a LOYAL customer for a very very long time with multiple family members all shopping with pet supermarket and sister companies and they have treated us horrendously! First mistake we accepted an apology / cancelled order and put it down to the new system issues they were having! Second mistake which was nearly 2 months after the first so we thought all would be well with the ordering system by now, it could have cost my dog his HEALTH AGAIN as we order a special renal food and I don’t take it lightly! After two nearly 3 weeks of not receiving my order I contacted pet supermarket and they were still having issues with the new system and were trying to revert back to the old system, this I have no issues with, the issue I have is the LACK of communication and disregard to inform their customers that they would not be dispatching orders any time soon, or EVEN have any of the items in stock! they took my money when they didn’t even have the items in stock Even after three weeks from order! Surely this is illegal let alone immoral! I could understand an everyday food treat item or toy but not to contact people ordering MEDICAL VETERINARY food is completely immoral and shows this company puts its profit margins before the health of its customers pets! I have lost all trust in this brand and its sister companies now and I have informed relatives and friends of my experience also. I have to say this company also has 3-4 of the leading online pet websites under its belt so please also beware as they are all fulfilled by the same dispatch centre and have the same low level of customer service! I have proof of all of my conversations with them recorded which I’m happy to make public as a member of their staff from their customer service informed me they have tried to get management to put a notice up on the website or email customers regarding this matter etc , which fell on deaf ears! I would AVOID this company and all of its sister companies , they show no respect for customers no matter how much you spend there. Utterly disgusted in the treatment I have received , there is no excuse for this level of disregard they have for their customers. ( even after forwarding a complaint via the phone I have still not heard anything! )

“Wrong item sent”

Sent hills diet dry dog food instead of my royal canine never answer phones same e mail sent every time you contact them I think this firm is getting as much money in that they can then will declare themselves bust had this with a holiday form about time somebody stepped in and do something will never shop online for my pooch again a very angry customer

“dont shop here”

order placed 1st December. here nothing for a week. i send email and receive response that there will be another week to reply. so i call up and told things are messed up due to moving warehouse. get response to email item out of stock no estimate on ability to supply so given choice to wait or cancel order. so i reply to that email within an hour of receiving to instruct them to cancel order and refund my money. i get my dog food from another suppler all done you would think. four days later get email to say that the order that i had already cancelled and no longer need has now been despatched to me . so as i am fed-up with wasting my time sending emails and listening to hold music on the phone i have now contacted them though the PayPal complaints system yet again telling them to cancel the order and refund my money. i will now sum up as politely as i can . would seem that no one there could organise a p---up in a brewery.

“Do not keep their promises.”

Useless - they promise VIP service and what do you get? They ignore your emails They ignore your texts They take 45 mins to answer phone This is what they said - we cannot give you a time when your order will be sent They promise three days delivery They pro use many things but their promises are not carried out and are worthless. Don't bother trying with them - that's a waste of time.

“No service at all!!”

I ordered something from them on 26th November....it is now 11th of December and it still hs not arrived. Their phones are not being answered and they are not replying to emails. Very poor service. I paid extra for quick deivery too! There is no way I would order from them again or recommend them to any one else.

Ordered pet food over week ago, still not despatched, Pet-Supermarket took the money on ordering. Have called customer services several times but no answer and no answer to emails. Have seen the Guardian article too late for me and I'm surprised Trading Standards haven't closed down the website as pet supermarket still taking money and advertising Christmas offers.

“Beware!”

I placed an order 3 weeks ago for over £50. The money was taken immediately from my account.....but still haven't received the goods. They haven't responded to my emails and I was on hold for over 25 minutes this afternoon. I would not advise anyone to use this company at present.

“Everything wrong”

I ordered dry cat food and received dog food. The cat food in pouches I ordered was all the same variety, not the mix I'd ordered. It took 2 days for anyone to answer the phone and emails didn't deal with my problem. They finally agreed to have the order returned, but I had to buy special tape to rewrap it as their box was so badly fixed together. I haven't been able to checked yet whether they've refunded me.

“Poor customer service, goods take ages and will go...”

I have ordered a few times from petsupermarket.co.uk as I get bombarded with emails offering discounts and with so many animals I have to take advantage of these. Unfortunatley, their delivery times are terrible, as is their customer service. Payments taken and order not even sent out for 2 weeks on average even when I paid for express delivery. Customer service says it doesn't matter that you pay extra! This is the last time I use them - ordered last week again and not informed for over 1 week that the payment didn't work and they were cancelling my order! I have saved payment details on their site and had received confirmation that the order was processed last week so clearly an error on their part yet they care so little for their customers instead of calling to fix this they cancel the order! Clearly do not care for their customers so will go elsewhere from now on!

“Terrible customers service”

I have ordered many times from this company and find them competitively priced especially when purchasing dog food. I've ordered twice this month to the value of approx £150 however this time I did not receive the usual email advising that my order had been shipped. Days later I return home to find the package lying infront of the door..it might as well have had a note attached to it saying "take me!" Part of the order was missing and no delivery note in box to say that the remainder would be shipped. I emailed the firm and got a response stating that the order had been shipped but nothing to clarify that I would receive the rest of my order..another email advising that the remainder of my order was shipped 1st class post on 18.07..call made on 25.07 to enquire where the order is only to be told that I received an email to an old email account from Medic Animal Pet Supermarket's sister firm as this was the email address that I'd placed the order from..I haven't had this email account for over 5 years..when I asked why no order despite the email last week stating that it had been shipped I was told that I hadn't given the dogs weight in the original order for worming tablets..LIES! You cannot place an order for worming tablets without putting the weight in..I was then told that as I had two dogs they were querying the amount of tablets I'd ordered..shocking customer services which will make me consider taking my business elsewhere.,now I'll see whether the actually re-imburse me as I've cancelled the order!

“Avoid this company”

Their delivery company is a total disgrace. Their concept of safe place is non-existent. The parcel was left at my front door and the driver had the cheek to write down in the note he/she put through my letter box that the parcel has been left in the front door just to excuse himself/herself that it has been delivered. I then received an email from the delivery company saying that the parcel has been left in a safe place. A safe place??? I live in a terraced house and the parcel was quite visible when I arrived. Luckily nobody took it but it was left there for hours and this could easily had happened. I find this extremely unprofessional and I will not be using their services anymore. My message to the company: use the services of a professional delivery company instead of trying to save money by using Yodel and make more profit. Your customers are paying for the delivery services and they deserve the service they are paying for. Stop taking the mickey!

Same as all the other one star posts, no arrival of goods after 3 weeks, money has been taken, apparently its my fault for not providing a correct address and only giving the address as "my home" and a postcode. Is there no one checking that these parcels actually have a valid address? I didn't change any of my original details, and they delivered to me here at my address last time I ordered so why the balls up now! (again a long wait, speedy delivery just isn't included) I cant get a refund, I now have to wait to see if Mr Postman returns my order to Pet Supermarket....then who knows? Mr Charisma on the phone couldn't really tell me much more!

“Purchased 5 weeks ago but still waiting for it!!!”

I purchased a petsafe receiver collar just before Xmas. The money (£52) was taken from my account on 23/12/15 but I have not yet recived anything. I contacted them by phone after they failed to delicer within 3 days after having paid £2.99 extra for express delivery. The answer was that it takes 5 working days anyway regardless of the delivery system...why advertise a express delivery then? I got the £2.99 refunded but this was not the point. I went away for 2 weeks and expected to find the parcell on my return on 16.01.16 but this was not the case. i have been trying to sort it out by email but I only get non-sense; they asked me to wait another 5 days in case it was delivered...but this was 4 weeks after they said they had put the parcel in the post. I have writen a couple of emails since then but they do not even answer. What can I do next????

Did an order on 31 January On express delivery but nothing has been delivered. Emailed on 5 January Emailed on 8 January Emailed on 9 January But have had no reply and still no goods. Have used them on a number of times but I would say don't use them check all the reviews on different sites.

“Lied to by Customer Services”

Having used Petsupermarket before this is not the first occasion where poor packaging has led to items being squashed, causing them to leak out. These things happen however I was very disappointed at the deceitful service received. Upon receipt of the parcel we found the contents of one of the items everywhere. I immediately phoned their sales line, speaking with a woman who asked me to email in an image of the damage, which I did. Given it was close to Christmas I specifically asked her whether this would delay replacement, to which she told me that my email would be looked at within minutes, certainly within the hour, and they would take care of it. Two days on, now Christmas Eve, I receive an email to tell me they had only just dispatched the replacement. Therefore the only conclusion that can be drawn is the lady I spoke with lied/fobbed me off. She certainly didn't care about customer service and so I guess the moral of this story is 'don't believe what their telephone staff tell you' they lie. Customer Service is evidently not high on their list of priorities....

Customer service is a complete waste of time, I cancelled my order because they could not supply the goods I ordered and it's been 2 weeks and I still haven't got a refund, even though they told me they had refunded my account. They say they will contact you within 24 hours, well 2 weeks is a lot more than 24 hours. You ring and complain and are told they cannot get hold of who you need to talk to. They say they will ring you straight back and they never do. I will never buy from them again, the worst company I have ever dealt with. They deserve minus 5 stars. They treat customers with contempt

“Order not dispatched”

I ordered with this company earlier in the year and was extremely pleased. However the order I put through on 24 September has not been delivered and the website is showing that it has not been dispatched but they have taken my money. I have tried e-mailing them, phoning and live chat and have not been able to communicate at all. I'm very angry!

“3rd order as a new customer, terrible service with all 3!”

I have now made 3 seperate orders as a new customer. the first just didn't arrive and when I contacted PS I was told my order had been lost. After 15 minutes on the phone this was resolved. My second order was only half fulfilled, on contacting PS they could not explain why and then sent the remaining items. My third order still has not arrived, I emailed them 2 days ago and had no response. As I write this I am over ten minutes on hold trying to speak to them. The first two orders were for prescription diet food which cannot be bought of the shelf and the delay resulted in not having any suitable food for my cat. I was compensated with a £10 voucher on the first instance, a 20% discount after the second order went wrong. This is nice but I would much prefer items ordered to arrive without having to waste time and money on chasing them. I expect my 3rd order to be my last and would not recommend Pet Supermarket to anyone, their people are helpful and friendly but there system is terrible

“Epic Fail”

Took the money for my order. After 5 days of waiting no delivery of any kind. I call, uncooperative staff on the phone, there response was that even though they took my money the order havent been placed!!! and now I have to wait another week or 2 for the delivery!!! no apology offered what so ever.. even though they admit it is a glitch in their system which they have known about for some time!!! dont bother buying from there.. there is a 100 other stores that respect their customers better and offer a way better service
