    I went to the shelter for a cat. I'd never had a cat before but with working full time, I thought it wouldn't be fair to have a dog and leave it in doors for most of it's life.

    Tameside Animal Shelter, Hyde - We lost one of our beloved cats this weekend due to long term illness, we always said that as she was a rescue cat that when she passed we would take in another cat in need of a good home, we visited Tameside Animal Shelter and nearly brought home several cats/dogs!!! ...

    Tameside Animal Shelter on Ragland street in Hyde houses cats and dogs that are found wondering the streets, or those that the owners can not look after for one reason or another.
