Very good home, looks after all animals and makes sure their all well and happy. I've been looking around and every animal had food and water. The dog runs are nice and open for the dogs to move about and the cats have a good time in the out door runs.

I found this shelter so very clean and friendly, we were put at our ease straight away because I was still crying over the death of our last dog. They seem like one big family, and its such a lovely place to visit. All the dogs are well cared for, and I looked in at the cats, and is the only place \ ...

If you want to re-home a dog or cat, please visit here and see if you can help. The shelter is lovely , with friendly staff and nice surroundings, We gave £200 for gimli, he was worth every bit and the money helps the other animals still waiting for their "mummy" to pick them up.

We got our kitten from Tameside Animal Shelter in October 2005 and I often think of the humble and unassuming shelter he came from who do so much good work. This shelter deserve a lottery handout in my opinion as the staff do their very best on a shoestring. Their dedication is incredible and all ...

I would have liked to bring all the animals home, they do a fantastic job, and its very busy. The last fair was wonderful and nothing seems too much trouble for the hard working volunteers.

I took a stray cat in to Tameside Animal Shelter in Hyde, that had been living rough for over a year. I had done all I could do, as mine wouldn't accept it; plus, I was nursing a terminally sick dog. The staff were understanding, considerate and helpful, and although they were pushed to the limit f ...

I went to Tameside Animal Shelter in January 2004, to look for a young cat or kitten. We spent a lot of time meeting all of the cats in their houses in the cattery, but we just could not decide who we wanted to take home, as we wanted all of them. While we were thinking about it inside the cabin, on ...

We went to the shelter on recommendation from a friend and found the staff very friendly, easy to talk to and wonderful to all the animals. We had had a cat for 7 years, and when Matty died we wanted a companion for her sister Amie. The shelter is so very, very clean, and all cats had their own lar ...
