Summary of the last email support thread that ended my patience with Demon Broadband: FRI am Re-opened email complaint from 2 weeks earlier as incoming emails delayed again. SAT late eve Demon requested header text. Referred to notes from Tollon (emails were coming via Tollon) earlier in the t ...

Demon used to be the best. That has changed completely. They deny problems, then when proven to exist they admit them but still do not update their status lines or online status summaries, therfore concealing the reality from other customers and increasing the number of calls they must get. Their ...

I have been on Demon since 1993. I have only phoned the help desk about 10 times. .... several of those were for setting up the multi seat Turnpike software (sadly now gone) The other times was for the transfer to broadband about 4 years ago. Not the cheapest but they have a solid infrastruc ...

I am a IT consultant, and run my own business, and I am a retailer with my customers having all kinds of ISP's ( For reasons of their own ). Well I have had to deal with the problems aspects of all the customers, and so far I must say Demon is the best of the deals available. If you are looking out ...

Demon Broadband 24/7 online chat is a myth. I've just waited 20 minutes and not had a reply. I've been with Demon for 11 years, and I'm sad to leave, but they do not care at all. I have suffered 128kbps on home office for 11 days with no explanation. They even told me that it's NOT due to fair usage ...

One to avoid. If you're lucky enough to get a good connection speed, you can't use it. It only takes fifteen hours a month of downloading to reach the limits of their 'unlimited' service, and then you are punished for 30 days with Demon.

Worst of all they had a "oh well" attitude when I said I was ceasing the contract. Absolutely no thought of loyalty to a long standing customer.

Having been with demon for some years now i didn't think i would ever leave. Since they started implementing upgrades early last year the service has degraded to the point of being unusable from early morning to late evening. And now that the company have started forcing customers to accept their ...

I changed to Demon well over a year ago and it's the best thing I ever did. I haven't had a single problem as far as the service goes and the migration was extremely quick and seamless. On the downside, customer services are awful. Never phone them, you wait forever to speak to someone and then the ...

I was without any broadband for over two months - apart from having 1 hour of access between 2am and 3am, which I think most of you will agree, is not very convenient. After many repeated calls to Demon, and hours of hanging on the phone (at my expense). I had been told 3 times that the service ...
