Websites go down, and the support line for OneAndOne http://oneandone.co.uk dont even know about it.You ring them up and ask whats wrong, and they say "Oh yes, I see that server is down". It has been down for 3 days consecutively now. Dont they have any back up servers?
I'm going to move my domains right away, and terminate the contract with 1&1. (read more)

I bought some domains through the OneAndOne Hosting Company and they sent me an email to say there was a payment problem. I contacted them and was advised to update my expired card details with another card. So I did. They had said on the phone that their system would retry payment. This was at the start of July, and I heard nothing since. Until Sat, 30th October when I received a letter from a debt agency asking for the money and a late payment charge. Im assuming it is some kind of typo as... (read more)

oneandone.co.uk - Blasklisted servers (mailabuse.org) which they won't fix so mails are being rejected by customers firewalls, taking forever to transfer domain to new ISP - yes we are leaving - hopefully they won't ruin us in the process. I see from the other reviews I am not alone....this crowd of wasters have got too big their boots. Of all hosting companies in all the world I had to choose to walk into this one :-( (read more)

Just had to add my comment on www.oneandone.co.uk to the others: This company is diabolical - do not touch! Has not actioned my cancellation on 3 occasions and has now referred me to debt collectors! Gone back to Pickaweb with relief. (read more)

I had over 100 sites with www.oneandone.co.uk. they used to be good when they were smaller but they've got too big - too automated and have lost touch with the end users.
You used to be able to speak direct to a techie - now you can't and the person on the end of the phone is never authourised to do anything and usually sounds miserable. They could not care less when I told them I was cancelling all my accounts (used to give them over £500 a month)
I have just moved my last 2 sites away... (read more)

I have been a customer of OneAndOne internet, and I know that as long as you make sure their payment details are updated they will look after you, it's like a phone company they extend the contract and they bar your phone if the Direct debit is denied but I think the email support is so professional it looks like they have some talented people writing the reply of my questions. No problems. The applicatons they have provided me in my control panel its free and they support them too, it's... (read more)

I have been a customer at www.oneandone.co.uk for about 2 years. Twice my account has been locked because my credit card has "refused payment" - the first I know is my email is not working. I checked with the CC Co. and they said no request has been refused. When I looked into it further they finally admitted that they did not inform me there was a "problem" by email or any other method. I changed details of card as requested then rang up oneandone and requested unlocking of account - 5 days... (read more)

Where do I start? Firstly the OneAndOne servers are based in Germany and the support lines are in the UK. A familiar response is 'there is nothing I can do as the servers are in Germany'!!!
We run a couple of webstores on one of their managed servers which has lately resulted in customer complaints as the shops were not running correctly. I contacted OneAndOne to request a reboot. Simple you might think. There was no need, I was told, as the shop software (that I have used for five years... (read more)

www.oneandone.co.uk - You only know how good a hosting service is when you have a problem and they`ve been disastrous. My main site`s been down for 24hrs+ so far during my busiest time of the year. Billing support are unavailable. Other support can`t/won`t help and refuse to put me through to someone senior who might. E-mails unanswered. Avoid at all costs. (read more)

I went live with my web site and it has been down 95% of the time costing my £10,000 of pounds in lost sales, I gave them 19 chances to put it right, so now I'm taking them to court. (read more)

DO NOT USE OneAndOne. For all the glossy advertising and website the service is an absolute joke. Right now, all my websites have been down for nearly 24 hours. Once through to customer support the staff will rudely tell you that they cannot give any eta for repairs. All in all my sites have been down for at least 40 hours this week. When I signed up the space was unusable for 7 days due to an error in the control panel. This has been the most frustrating of all hosts I have ever used. (read more)

Twice, OneAndOne have locked my account, supposedly because the card details I specified were wrong. On both occasions, the card details were correct and it has taken an awful lot of hassle to get my email/site working again. In fact, with the latest problem, it's been FOUR DAYS with nothing working and they still haven't been able to unlock my account. I'm currently trying to change to a different provider, but needless to say, they're dragging their feet on that too. (read more)

Don't touch 1and1. One word for them RUBBISH! They can not get anything correct, the SSL is sham, they have very poor un-trained service people, they are just plain old RUBBISH. They may be cheap but by the time you have spent correcting their mistakes it pays to go somewhere else. (read more)

In 9 years of putting web sites on the net, OneAndOne are without doubt THE worst hosting experience I have ever endured. Despite paying for a dedicated server, my site still runs into cgi limits when running some very basic and commercially available scripts. Without wishing to accuse them of outright fraud, I have severe doubts that their managed server packages are what they say they are.
Their support staff are inept, to put it politely. Their version of 'support' is to leave you on... (read more)

I hosted three OneAndOne accounts and six domains with OneAndOne for nearly three years. The sites grew too big for OneAndOne's web hosting package.
I asked to cancelled (they claim that you can cancel at any time) I asked to cancel as soon as possible on the 3rd of February. It is now the 5th of April and they still haven't cancelled them.
I have spent over FIVE HOURS on hold and chatting to their support team over this time.
I have recieved over THIRTY-FIVE emails aboout this issue and... (read more)

We reported a problem with our web hosting to OneandOne on the 3rd of February 2004. They didn't respond, nor did they rectify the fault so we reported it a 2nd time on the 6th February 2004. This time, even though they hadn't rectified the fault they sent an auto questionnaire asking what we thought of the service. We told them in no uncertain terms that their service was extremely poor. Did their customer service team jump to resolve our problem? Not even a reply. On the 10th our director... (read more)

We needed a higher performance hosting company for our business. 1&1 looked promising with their glizty marketing material talking about their high availabilty, investment in data centres and 99.9% availability . The 50 quid google adwords voucher was a nice hook too.
Two weeks in and the server has stopped responding. The recorded voice on the phone slowly reads out the URL of the faqs on the website.
Their website does say that out of hours telephone support is non-existant. Thats... (read more)

This is a real joke... I had a .co.uk and .com registered with oneandone.co.uk and webspace with another web hosting provider and when I called 1&1 they REFUSED to update their dns entries for it. I changed my webspace subscription to a .com and called them again. I was told that "it could take up to 2 weeks to be done because it's a favour they do to customers".
Also, even they they state that "you can cancel your contract at any time with us", they do not clearly say that this does not... (read more)
