I've got a Bosch washing machine delivered, installed and tested, plus the dead one removed, for £258 all in. The product is excellent and the service has been exemplary. I ordered an American type fridge/freezer from www.currys.co.ukand was quoted a price including home delivery. It was then further specified in the acknowledgements that delivery would be to my flat.

When they delivered, the fridge/freezer was just dumped in the entrance hall and left there.

It cost me a over £120.00 to get it taken up to my flat so the item wasn't as cheap as I thought!… Read Full Review

Currys have bad customer service. No value for money. I am now stuck with a faulty TV I paid 600 pounds for because when I took it back to one of the stores I was told if we can't see the fault we can't replace or refund your money back. The staff at the store were saying that there was no fault with the TV and didn't believe me, I explained the colour on the TV goes funny from time to time, I have reported this matter to trading standards and am waiting for a good result. I purchased an Acer laptop at the end of January. The lid is very flimsy, and after 6 weeks, due to the flimsiness of the lid, the screen cracked and started to leak. Currys would not accept that the design was faulty, and they refused to repair it. I had to pay £275 for a new LCD just after 6 weeks.

Curry's are good at presenting and selling goods, but not at listening or helping. They do not employ enough staff, and they refused to put me through to a manager.

I've placed three orders with Curry's over the last month - for two cameras and a reconditioned computer. The cameras were delivered within 4 and 5 working days respectively and the computer arrived within just 3 days during the week leading up to Christmas. All had free delivery and could be tracked online.

I bought a Plasma TV from Currys and it broke in the first 3 months. Currys organised for their repairer to visit, then for set to be picked up and subsequently dropped off. The television was returned with the same fault. Currys refuse to replace the product until after 28 days (28 days in their possession, and not from the initial report of the problem) have elapsed. I could not fault Currys online service. It was excellent from beginning to end. I ordered a fridge freezer one Saturday night and the following morning received all 3 of my promised e-mails confirming orders and delivery. I was able to choose any day of the week for my delivery even a Sunday. They confirmed both by e-mail and then by post all my order details and delivery day.
