I was 15 and a half stone when I started this diet. After 100 days I was down to 12 stone. It was great.
However 2 years later I am now 18 stone. I kid you not. Do not do this diet. Do you really think drinking milkshakes instead of proper food is a good way to lose weight? Think about it. I was desperate to lose weight and look where it's got me. It's an absolute nightmare and the people pedalling this diet should be put in prison.

Lighter Life is a very good diet plan for weight lose but i think they are taking advantage of people.

I finished my LL journey over a yea ago now and as i have not put on a single pound since then, i felt i should write about it! My story starts with being over 20 stone at the age of 22. Not nice. I have been on LL 3 weeks today and have lost 18lbs. I was 13.10 when I started and would like to get to around 10 stone. After day 3 (once the hunger goes) I have found this diet a breeze. I find it amusing to read the reviews stating 'putting all the weight back on once you finish', obviously you have just gone back to your old eating habits, otherwise wouldn't everyone in the world be over weight?!?!?!? I am currently on the Lighterlife Diet and have been for the past 6 months. I decided LL as this was recommended by my doctor who had seen fantastic results from other patients and doctors that she knew. As with everyone i had tried WW, SW and Slimfast and i could not keep to the diets or my weight would creep back on. Simply, it works. It's not complicated and if you are a busy person like me, it's perfect. Plus the group counseling helps keep you on track. I lost 2 stone, going for a 3rd stone. Never in my life did I ever think this was possible until doing this. Everything else I've tried, I've failed, without experiencing good results, without it being easy to follow, I just drop it. I have been on LighterLife for 10 weeks and have lost 45lbs. I started at 18st 11 and now i am at 15st 9lbs. Initiallly i found none of the problems that are being banded around. When starting it is a shock to the system, but after the first few days i was amazed that although i was eating 550 cal a day i did not feel hungey at all. I have been on the program for seven weeks, I have lost five and a half stone, my target weight is six stone which I hope to achieve within the next two weeks. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DIET!
I started the lighter life diet around two years ago and did it for around 8 months. I lost 5 stone and as soon as i came of it i put a lot of the weight back on, this was following the lighter life guidlelines of introducting food in stages.

I did lighter life 2 years ago and lost 7.5 stone in 8 months. And feel really great. I have put on 1/2 stone since due to my holidays over the last few months but eating normally and its coming off again. It is expensive £66 a week but I had tried so many diets and spent so much money on other diets. I do believe that all diets have their own merits and it is best to find the one that works for you as we are all different. Lighterlife was great to experience being thin for once in my life, BUT the after effects are more damaging. Reality = rapid weight gain when started eating normal food, chronic problems with pain in my digestive system, overactive bowel movemements. And this is 2 years after ditching the diet.

Hi ,i did lighterlife 2 years ago lost 4 stone in 4 mths,found it very easy
i was 15 st ,i didnt get all the weight off i wanted,but got down to a size 12 from a 24,so was happy,i did not finish maintaince programme.

I'm just about to start week ten on LighterLife, my last week, and I've lost just over 4 stone, just in time for my holiday.
It really has been worth the "effort", it's been a little tedious at times, and I've found the weekends to be the most challenging, especially with the smell of all the summer bbq's wafting around, but if you're determined enough you can do it - if I can, anybody can!

I've been on the Lighter Life diet for four weeks, the first week I lost an incredible 16lbs, second week 6lbs, third week 5lbs, fourth week 4lbs.
Losing 2 stone 3lbs in just 4 weeks, I think this diet (if you stick to it) speaks for itself.

I completed LighterLife foundation September 2008, lost 3 stone and dropped from BMI 33 to BMI 27. Maintained weight loss until Christmas 2008, when I began to introduce 'trigger' foods - bread & chocolate, in small quantities.
