I purchased Meconopsis HIMALAYAN BLUE POPY jUMBO pLUGX3 from Garden Bargain, Ideal World TV. It arrived 6 days later. They are small, some leaves broken off and all looks wilted. These plants may not survive I fear. On TV programme they are potted in individual pot but they came in a green plastic container with hardly any white tiny roots visible. I'll never buy anything from them again. I feel cheated.

“I ordered a Foreknow snow bike and it has not arrived...”

I ordered a Foreknow snow bike and it has not arrived over 1 month later. It said that delivery was up to 14 days. I have emailed several times and always get the same reply. “We will get back to you” and they never do. Do you use them or buy from them.  I WILL REMOVE THIS REVIEW WHEN I GET MY BIKE!!!

“Poor Customer Service ”

Ordered a Rug Doctor over a fortnight ago. Placed the order successfully, payment taken and then nothing. Have contacted customer services several times who agree there is a problem but can't articulate what, or when it's likely to be resolved. Appreciate things go wrong but customer service is about dealing with them when they do. I would expect any professional organisation to say sorry, this is the issue, this is what we're doing to resolve it and this is the likely timescale. At least customers would know where they they stood rather than being in limbo.

“Garden bargaine”

I purchased some of their colossus strawberry plants. They said on the programme this is the size of the plugs you will receive..... Some of them are so small they look as though they will not survive . I have bought other things from garden bargains with mixed results and have contacted them for a refund several times but I thought I would try once more which was a mistake. The quality of their products has definitely worsened.

Terrible customer care, they take your money and become unresponsive. Terrible customer care Not very responsive, have to call a premium rate 13-20p a minute number to find out why they have not shipped an order, only to get no human. Generic email responses with no useful or helpful information. Will never use the company again unless they significantly improve their customer care. Looks like I'll have to do a charge back through bank as I cannot see me getting the expensive order. Think I'll stick to QVC and TJC if I do anymore teleshopping. Ideal world need to really get a grip, luckily I'll be covered by section 75 to get my money back as that's the only way forward I fear.

“electro townmaster ebike”

I ordered and paid for an Electro Townmaster ebike on the understanding that if not suitable, I could return the goods within the specified 60 days period. After several short tests, I realised that it was not suitable for my requirements. I contacted the returns department and explained my concern and that I would like to return it. The person I spoke to requested that it be sent back in the original packing. I explained that I did not have the box it came in because I had no room to store it. He then told me to seal it in bubble wrap and he would arrange for collection. The item was picked up by Tufnalls transport to be returned to God knows where. I then received and email to say that the charger was missing. I know that it was returned and completely sealed within the package. I rand the returns department to explain this. Several days later I received another email to say that there were scratches on the frame. I know that this was not the case because there was not a mark on it. I again rang to complain about this and they then said what refund would I accept. I cannot believe that I have been duped by what would appear to be a genuine TV shopping channel

They only have premium rate telephone numbers. If there is a problem and every time I have bought anything there has been - there is no one to help you or take your complaint. Avoid this company at all costs.

“THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT DO NOT SEND YOUR GOODS! ”

I placed an order on 30.3.20 for a exercise bike. I was advised it would be with me within 5 working days. It has nearly been 3 weeks and still no sign of my bike. I have been emailing them daily. Most emails get ignored. Others say they are trying to track it. No tracking number has ever been recieved. I recieved the following email response back from them over a week ago... "Since the order was a dispatch from the supplier warehouse we are unable to track the parcel as confirmed by them the order was despatched on 30/03/2020 and still you haven't received the order, hence at this point, we can only assume that this order has been lost in the courier network." There it is, in black and white they confirm that they believe the item has been lost. Off of the back of this confirmation I request an immediate refund. I then recieve the following..."Our aim will be to get your order to you as quickly as possible, however, the investigation should be completed within 10 working days. If we are unable to track down your parcel, we will refund the order. We will keep you informed of our investigation and the outcome." I do not want another item. I want my money back! They have confirmed the item is missing, yet refuse to issue me an immediate refund! I only wish I had checked out the reviews prior to making a purchase. I continue to battle with this company for my money back!! Horrific service!

I didnt want a refund just the other offer that goes with my first item. They refunded and I missed the offer !!! I told them in an email and message 7 time!!! Below average customer Services which you need to look at as people are going though enough at the moment !!!! Shame on you all. Never will I order again.

I recently bought a stk phone on flexi pay ive not paid it fully yet and the phone has developed three faults after sending many emails getting pushed from email to email different services and phone calls at 30 pence a minute . I do not want the phone I want a refund but they will not give me one as they have a fourteen day returns policy what a joke .Iam truly disgusted with the service I have received but I bet they take my final payment on a phone that dos nt work properly ideal world sort your customer services out

I’ve been an in and out with this company for years and constantly have bad service with phones calls costing to customer service at 13 pence a minutes dearer then any other company that offer freephone . Always paid but unable as a pensioner to transfer funds in my bank as unwell so today phoned them to pay last instalments on 3 easy payments as I’ve never owed any money and they have blocked me till 24 hours .so I cannot make an order that does not need 3 easy payments so what’s your problem ideal world when it comes out of my card instantly as I explained it didn’t come out last time as card was lost

i recently purchased some hair product from ideal world and was told 3 to 5 working days to arrive only nothing arrived so i rang them to be told they would chase it up and get back to me within an 1 hour then over 2 hours past nothing so i rang them again to be told its on route and should be with me between 11 and 1 why fob me off in the first place and why say 3 to 5 days when it takes more like 7 orr and im still waiting for my goods to arrive would not shop on here again or recommend them

“Really poor service”

I made an order for two dresses two pairs pants and some shoes for my holidays all arrived I tried on one pair pants and one dress. As they fit I packed them all in my case and went on holiday, a dress for each evening and a selection of tops on holiday I opened the second dress on the night I wanted to wear it to find they had sent a top, so I had to go out to local shops to find a plus size dress which was hard in a small Greek village, I reng when home to tell them if there mistake and extra cost I had to pay for a second dress to be told it would be logged as a mistake and someone would call me back I then got a text message saying they had sent everything I ordered I was furious and rang back to demand to speak to a manager the manager did ring and confirmed I had ordered two dresses to which I told her I know it is on the delivery note! She said return the dress which I did . The dress was 10 pound plus two expensive phone calls plus being called a liar and the extra dress I had to buy in Greece all I got refunded was 9.38 this is a joke. My first and last ever order they get from me and no one from resolutions has bothered to contact at all I implore buyer beware this is a despicable company qvc never have these problems and have a freephone number

“Threatened me with Court Action as they could't access...”

Stear clear of this Company. The Customer Service department need to take a leaf out of Q.V.C.'s way of working and how to treat customers. Looks like Ideal World and I are going to end up in Court. They sent me a letter yesterday, threatening me with legal action as they have been unsuccessful in taking a payment from my bank. Unfortunately I didn't realise my Card recently expired. Ideal world tell me this is their 2nd attempt at trying for payment, which is lies. They then say if i fail to pay therefore the 2nd administration charge of £18 then we will be involved in legal action. This is extortion. I never received a phone call/letter/e-mail to inform me of first hiccup, so I'm afraid Ideal World I'm not going to be taken to the cleaners because of your incompetent Customer Services Dept. I am visiting a Law office in Glasgow tomorrow morning. We'll see who comes out on TOP.

They sent it back and got debt collectors on to me. No room for discussion. Justt wanted new card details. At this point i was not happy about giving them card details. I resent cheque as full and final payment.
After 6 years yep 6 years they finally gave up.
Ah you say you didn't pay last instalments. But i had because a different order never arrived for which I'd paid in it's entirety.
Kept firm. I kept saying please take me to court. I have the cheque you won't accept and at the same court case can we discuss the goods that never turned up for which I've never had a refund.
Yep 6 years. It got quite comical. I asked them several times to produce copies of their paperwork. They never did.
Thought intimidation would work but i never refused to pay. Never was unable to pay.
Accidents to bank cards happen. Puppy chewed one a few months ago. It doesn't show unwillingness to pay.
Absolute rubbish company. I informed theirs and mine trading standards.
Company run by monkeys i think.

“The Worst Online Shopping Company Ever - Do Not Use...”

Mathey-Tissot Watch Disaster! One Star is far too generous for this complete shower of anti-customer service, insensitive Company falsely parading as having their customers best interests and issues at heart. This Company are a total disgrace with a customer service department that you have to pay premium rates to contact incurring yet more costs with nothing being resolved. So, I ordered a Mathey-Tissot Watch on 20th April but could not checkout my basket, I received a telephone call from customer services stating that they were experiencing IT Problems so they took my order over the telephone - I have never received the watch despite Ideal World taking payment for this watch - some 21 emails on and God knows how many telephone calls and they think it is OK to refund me as the product went out of stock AFTER my order was taken but despite them taking payment for it. After numerous confusion from Ideal World side I received a replacement form for another and far more expensive watch which they thought had been lost in transit.........Unbelievable!!!! After lengthy telephone calls on 14th May and to my surprise a call back from someone supposedly senior at Ideal World, I put a proposal to them for a different watch but in the same style which they would have had to have made a gesture of goodwill to cover all the costs although I would have been paying the majority of the cost of the watch.....I was supposed to receive a reply on 14th May but no surprise to me that no call back from them was received. I have called them again at much expense and been told that my proposal was rejected - I will now be taking Legal Advice and action against Ideal World for Breach Of Contract - they are a complete joke. I am not on Facebook but will now join to ensure everyone I know passes on the warning to stay well clear of this Company. They appear immune and uninterested at the shocking name and reputation that they have managed to achieve - they need exposing on BBC WatchDog!!!! Can anyone reading this review PLEASE tell friends and family to avoid the awful experiences that I have had to endure.

“Shocking Customer Service”

I have ordered a number of things from Ideal World and thought them to be good until I encountered my first faulty product. I took advantage of their half price Dormeo mattress. I was delighted with the product, very comfortable and offered me a good night's sleep. However, I soon noticed a groove appearing in one corner that was getting longer. I decided after 3 months to contact Ideal World to seek a replacement as the goods were clearly faulty. I even supplied pictures but all I got was the rubbish statement that they can believe how disappointing and frustrating this must be but to be patient. After a few communications, I was informed that the supplier wanted an engineer's report and that someone from Home Serve would contact me. This did happen albeit Home Serve could not attend for a couple of weeks. When the engineer did attend, he took photos and stated that the mattress is indeed faulty, through no fault of mine and that it would be replaced. More than a week after he attended, I have had two communications with them and they are still yet to replace the mattress. They are duty bound to replace or reimburse, not to keep saying they are referring the matter to the supplier. A company is only as good as the way they handle a problem and from my experience, I will never order from Ideal World again!

I ordered a tissot watch 19/5/18 and told dispatched in 3 to 5 days nothing received. then told 7 days nothing received.spent over £20 past week chaseing it.told today it's been lost by courier. it's cancelled as no more in stock. and got to wait 10days to get money back. be warned don't by from this company

I will now arrange for the debt to be recalled from Moorcroft O THANKS ALOT JUST DONT BUY OF THEM ALSO SAME FIRM AS**** CREATE AND CRAFT***admin fee of £18.00 joke

I have just had the same, but I am billing them back for admin and phone charges with an invoice and if they don't pay I am threatening them with debt agency, you can do that and if you didn't sign a contract you don't have to pay admin fees.

Try emailing them first as customer service is useless. If it is still within the guarantee it's down to Ideal World to sort it as your contract is with them and not the manufacturer. Don't be fobbed off, stick with it. It took me five weeks to get a refund on returned goods and that only happened when I threatened legal action. Good luck!

do not waste time with Ideal World Try connecting tablet to charger and then see if it will switch on My often says no charge when it is 99% full, I switch off and on again and it is ok I also find if it is powered off for maybe a week the battery completely drains I gave up in the end and purchased a different make and size from a supermarket and todate it has been fine According to Ideal World if tablet is 2/3 weeks old it is not refundable GOOD LUCK

Ideal World should be able to give you the details of the service centre from their supplying company. If it is less than 3 months old then I would ask Ideal World to sort it out for you. Just remember that your Warranty may say you only have 12 months cover but the law say's that the item should work for what a 'reasonable person' would think is appropriate.

It is too expensive to call and place an order, as you are being asked several questions over and over? A land line number would be ideal for customers, as we have to pay high postage too, and don't want a high phone bill.

The simple answer is - DO NOT order from Ideal World. They are arrogant, unhelpful, that is when they just might answer your call. They do NOT deserve to be in business, VOTE with your feet! AVOID them. It will cost you an arm and a leg in phone calls, if you need to contact them. AVOID.

The answer to your question is... YES Its very expensive to phone Ideal World. I always place my orders on-line and other contacts I make by e-mail. Only trouble with e-mail contact is that it can can take up to one or two weeks to get a reply. They have actually phoned me when I had a serious issue with them. But overall customer care is the worst on this planet in my experience.

A quick after-thought is "I always pay Ideal World via my Pay-Pal account...!!". I get a a fair judgement on any issues with them (by Pay-Pal) and I have and no hassle refund that way

I agree far too expensive, after my last experience with them I no longer watch the channel. They are probably kept going by a hardcore following who use them for crafts, I hear nothing but bad reviews about them now and it is no surprise, they will probably sit up and take notice when it is too late.

Write a notice of impending action to their registered address giving them 2 weeks to sort everything out. Explain clearly what the problem is but don't be rude or emotional as this letter may find its way in front of a judge. Explain that you will begin small claims action if they do not resolve it. Be prepared to carry your threat through by going online to register your small claim. It is very easy to do.

Hi, be insistent,sale of goods act is there for us. I cc'd everyone, several times, they have 30 days from your request for a refund to comply, if this has not happened do as I did, do not release the goods until refund is made. My reply: Just a quick reply to say, thank you very much for both your help and efficiency, isn’t it a shame that not everyone connected with Ideal World has your attitude to customer relations. I feel sure that there would be far more happy customers than, as seems to be the case by internet search, unhappy and disgruntled ones. see my review, "do they give a dam" good luck!!

I agree with the answer from trevorr10 - be sure to write 'WITHOUT PREJUDICE' at the top of the letter also. Do not give up, if you are legitimately due a refund, they are contravening their terms of sale by not processing that refund within a reasonable time limit and you have a good case against them. This company needs everyone treated poorly by them to complain formally, otherwise they continue to miss-sell on their tv channel without being brought to task. They cleverly refuse to print poor reviews on their website stating 'technical errors' so new purchasers have no idea of the nightmare that lies ahead. The regulators need to be aware of the sub standard goods and service they provide before they can act against them.
