The dresses were the best i have seen anywhere. I just love the simplicity of their styles no frills and flounces just beautiful dresses. Caroline Castigliano Wedding Dresses. Slightly more than i wanted to pay, but I have choosen somthing very special and I do believe you get what you pay for! I can't speak highly enough of the whole experiance… Read Full Review

I visited Caroline Castigliano Nottingham and can only say it was the most fantastic experience i had ever had in either a bridal boutique or any other retail enviroment. I told the assistant i thought they didn't do enough to promote their service in the area, I have lived in Nottingham for 5 years and hadn't understood the difference between Caroline Castigliano and all the other bridal boutiques. I do now. The gowns are spectacular, and the advice and understanding of how to get me looking… Read Full Review

I didn't get to try on dresses at Caroline Castigliano as I was so put off by the staff on the phone at the Nottingham store that I cancelled my appointment.
The staff were polite, but as I was told they were fully booked for the next 2 weekends I was going to have to make an appointment during the week. As I would need to leave work early (last appointment is 4pm - no late nights mid week) I said I would call back. When I rang back 2 days later they had 'misplaced' my details, so I had to… Read Full Review

Caroline Castigliano Wedding Dresses - Having spent the entire day last Saturday bridal gown shopping with my mum, my fiance's step mum and three of my bridesmaids (quite an entourage!), I can not recommend CC, Knightsbridge highly enough. We enjoyed a first rate professional experience, the service and attention to my every need was impeccable and was by far the most accommodating boutique in terms of the amount of people accompanying the bride to be (I felt it important to get everyone… Read Full Review

I have never been so disheartened I had visited 7 bridal shops in London and was starting to feel I was disfigured. Yesterday I went to Caroline Castigliano in Knightsbridge it was quiet and the most special experience I have ever had. I WAS listened to and had a lot of things explained to me so I felt really comfortable about making a decision. I have bought a truly beautiful gown and I have never felt so special. When I left the shop I walked to Harrods and bought some chocolates for the… Read Full Review

having purchased my daughters dress in the edinburgh store imagine my shock when one week before the wedding we had no sash and a broken brooch? we did eventually get them in time for her big day but the point is this should never have happened. i am bitterly disappointed with the service we received and would not recommend this particular store to anyone… Read Full Review

From the onset I found the staff at Caroline Castigliano seemed very pushy. I had close family with me on the day I tried many dresses on and if my niece made any negative comments/views, the staff seemed to undermine her opinion. She was really fed up with them.
In the end I bought my dress from CC as I thought it was perfect for the day. However, to this day I still feel perturbed by the staff in the shop and their apparent insincerity… Read Full Review

I have been to quite a few bridal stores and although I cant say negative points about the dresses themselves, the apparent hard sell tactics to try to get me to buy a dress I really did not appreciate - it actually really put me off. Other brides that I have spoken to have said that they have heard about similar experiences so it is not only me. Although I saw a dress that I liked, the experience put me off so much that I have decided not to go back there. Choosing a dress should be an… Read Full Review

Caroline Castigliano was the first designer I visited, and I completely fell in love with the first dress I tried on. However I have not bought a CC dress. My Mum and I found the seemingly over the top sales team in both the West End store and the Knightsbridge store very off putting. It appears from going to both stores that the sales technique seems enforced, and very ungenuine. We felt very pressurised into buying a dress there and then, and when we didn't, we continued to receive phone… Read Full Review

I have just bought my wedding dress from Caroline Castigliano in Guildford and the entire experience was so special and extremely memorable, my mum and I were treated to wine and the sales lady spent the entire afternoon making me feel like I was the only bride in the world, yes, it's pricey and their selling techniques are a little bit pushy but despite that, i do feel it comes down to the same old saying "you get what you pay for" and you certainly get the one on one special service. And of… Read Full Review

My experience was pretty good. Although there were a few points which I think they could improve on. I wanted to see a specific designer, I was told that 2 dresses were out of my price range and so picked 3 others. I ended up only trying one on and was told that it didn't suit my shape, the other 2 I didn't try. I understand that she was trying to be helpful but I think it should be up to the bride-to-be what I try on and if I likes the dress.
The dresses are very nice, but for the price they… Read Full Review

I work in sales and was shocked and horrified by their technique. My wedding is in a few months and straight away I was told there would be a late fee. No other wedding dress shop I had visited was going to charge me. I felt as though they were trying to intimidate me because I did not have one year to plan and prepare everything. I thought the majority of the dresses were grotesque and the others clearly did not suit my shape, yet I felt the pressure to buy one was unreal. I was not going… Read Full Review

I have just ordered my wedding dress from Caroline Castigliano in Knightsbridge, what an experience. My appointment lasted for around 2 hours, my sister and I were offered champagne whilst we talked through my wedding plans and ideas for my dress.I tried on a selection of beautiful gowns, but in the end I decided I wanted something totally individual, the manager herself came over to take my measurements, to discuss ideas and to help me choose fabrics/beading/accessories etc, my dress is being… Read Full Review

I ordered my dress from DBR in Kendals, Manchester who have transferred my order to CC in Wilmslow. 4 weeks before my big day and there is no sign of my dress, I'm ringing them on a daily basis and just keep getting told they will ring me when it arrives in store.....not good enough! They promise to ring you back and never do so you chase them and they just say don't panic, we don't do panic at CC!… Read Full Review

Out of three appointments Caroline Castigliano Wedding Dresses stood out for all the wrong reasons. Firstly, the high pressure sales technique and being grilled about the vision for the wedding and how I wanted to look. None of my answers were good enough! The sales assistant didn't listen to what I wanted or which dresses I wanted to try on. They randomly selected what I thought to be some grotesque creations, when I said I didn't like it, more grilling ensued. Why don't you like it? I was… Read Full Review

I have bought the Beauty dress and have enjoyed my visits to their Knightsbridge store in London. The girl who has been looking after me is great and is very honest about what she thinks works and doesn't, without trying to push a sale.
My big problem is that the sample dresses that are there to be tried on are in very poor condition. I visited on Saturday to have my measurements taken followed by an accessories appointment and my dress was grey from shop dirt and damaged from over dry… Read Full Review

It was the first bridal shop I visited, the service was very professional and I felt they knew what they were talking about when it came to garment construction, fabrics and overall style to suit individual needs. As a fashion buyer I hear a lot of rubbish from sales assistants but these ladies knew their stuff and I valued their opinions. I selected Beauty but wanted to make some major alterations which at first was met with a little resistance at changing the designers original vision… Read Full Review

Im quite surprised at reading these brilliant reviews.
I only wish i had the same experience. I went to the store in London and felt like they were attempting to hypnotise me into buying a wedding dress.
The girl that was helping me was divorced which didnt put my mind at ease.
I was also made to parade up and down the shop pretending i was walking down an aisle.
I loved the general idea of it all but it didnt seem realistic or down to earth and for what i was getting i did not feel like… Read Full Review

I had a fantastic time, the store staff are really helpful although i thought i knew what i wanted they listened to what i said and came up with some great suggestions, in the end i chose a dress that is an adaptation of what i had thought would suit me - its called devine and it lives up to its name! Its a big relief to know i've found my dress!… Read Full Review

I loved my whole experience. The staff were so attentive and really made me feel special, they kept asking me what my vision was, and what I was really looking for. They didn't rush me at all and the champagne was such a nice touch, and it was really nice to be relaxed in the dresses, so many stores are paranoid that you are going to spill something on them, but Caroline Castigliano just are not like this, so refreshing. I've choosen Beauty and I can't wait to wear it for the day… Read Full Review
