I just got the dishwasher and it has broke down 4 times. The repairman said it is almost a recall item on these dishwashers. I just want it out of my house and both Tasco and Fisher Paykel are refusing to replace it and each repair takes weeks to get done.
Although I thought the double drawer was a good idea, it is actually too small to put pots and larger items in it. I will be going back to a regular dishwasher with a top rack wash option instead. Even if I have to pay for it… Read Full Review

Lived in an apartment for 2 years that had a dish drawer. After a while it wouldnt drain fully with the last layer of water at the bottom going putrid between washes. The concept however is good - pity Kiwis and not Germnans came up with it… Read Full Review

We have had use of our double drawer dishwasher for about 6 months since it was installed and have had 3 service calls, each taking almost 3+ weeks to get repaired. Customer service is a joke. Supervisors are always in a meeting no matter when you call. Service person this last time refused to give me name of company CEO or Chairman or a corporate phone call. When pressed said she was instructed not to give it to customers (gee I wonder why). Clearly no one cares about their customers once… Read Full Review

I bought my Fisher & Paykel Dishdrawer DD603SS in 2004. It cost over £900 so I expected a trouble-free few years of use from it. It first broke down within a few months when it refused to drain the drawers. The engineers fixed it by draining the machine nd then leaving us. So, within days it was doing it again. Again we called the engineers back and they fixed it again. This time with a look into the machine and replacing some parts. But after a while longer we had the same problem yet again… Read Full Review

Looks great, but it constantlu clogs, so we now rinse everything before we put it in - easier to just use the sink! Don't buy one of these unless being a fashionable fool is your thing!… Read Full Review

This twin drawer model is ideal for single person - no lengthy wait for unit to be filled . I find 56 min wash is ample for most dishes. Eco not very good, except for lightly used china etc.
I very much like the stainless steel appearance of the machine - co-ordinates with other ss items - eg oven & hob. is easy to keep clean too. It is quite a feature in my kitchen - is often admired, particularly the unusual feasture of two drawers.
I was attracted to the appearance when fitting out my… Read Full Review

I bought F&P DD603 almost 9yrs ago, installed it myself, never had a problem, not even once. Recently without thinking I just pulled opend one of the drawers during wash cycle and that stuffed it up.
It was my mistake that its malfunctioning. Otherwise its a great product.
I would certainly reccomend this product but to a small family of three or four at the most.
cheers… Read Full Review

We have had our F&P for over 4 years. First problem, the tech didn't install it correctly. Second problem, 4 years later was drawers failed to open - motors and link belts needed to be replaced. I disagree with the remarks that you can't load it properly. I've taken the racks out and had no problems. It is as quiet as a church mouse. My expectations is that I'd have alot of repairs. And I was pleasantly surprised. Friends have a Asko. Many repairs during the same time frame… Read Full Review

We have had one of these for 8 years but have had endless problems in that time. Constant error messages, tends not to wash too well, doesn't take tablets, service engineers often unfamiliar with the product. At the moment, it won't even run the quick wash program on either drawer. We've persevered for long enough and will now change for a different manufacturer. A case of style over substance, unfortunately… Read Full Review

This dishwasher is lovely to look at and I was extremely delighted with it at first. However it developed a fault whilst still under warranty and no longer works. The customer service advice centre is in New Zealand and the staff are not particularly helpful. The service engineer has been out three times fitted six different new parts and still it does not work. I have been without a dishwasher for three weeks. Take my advice steer well clear of this product!!!… Read Full Review

we have had nothing but trouble from our fp dishwaser drawers, the machine hasn't gone more than 2 months without us having to call an engineer out. out of warranty it costs a fortune without the parts, we are still waiting for a part to come in that was ordered 3 months ago. we bought what we thought was the best dishwasher on the market but have been very dissapointed… Read Full Review

I bought two Fisher Pykel dishwash drawers six years ago because I liked the design and the fact that I did not have to bend over to load the machines. They were a BIG mistake. Engineers have been out at least three times a year. A tiny seed will block the system and the smallest thing will make them overflow. I have had 2 new lids, 2 new motors and endless visits each each at a call out of £85 a time plus the new parts.Fisher and Pykel have been unhelpful I sent them all the details of… Read Full Review

THIS IS OUR 2ND F&P DOUBLE DRAWER DISHWASHER SINCE AUG.2009, THEY COULDN'T GET THE FIRST ONE TO WORK, GAVE US A NEW ONE AND IT HAS THE SAME PROBLEM, KEEPS STOPPING AND BEEPING WITH DEFAULTS THAT THE BOOKLET SAYS CALL FOR SERVICE!!!! SERVICE COULDN'T REPAIR THE LST ONE, WAITING TO HAVE THEM COME OUT TO REPAIR THE 2ND ONE. WAS CURIOUS IF THE PROBLEM COULD BE ON THE INSTALLATION, COULDN'T BELIEVE 2 F&P WOULD HAVE THE SAME ISSUES. OH WELL, WE LEARNED A LESSON, LISTEN TO CONSUMER REPORT!!!!… Read Full Review

Don't buy F&P products. My kitchen is fully equipped. The double dishdrawer has had numerous callouts for repairs it is totally unreliable. My old Hotpoint went for 14 years without any problems ever. My Icon Tower double oven has had each oven break down more than once and it has not yet been installed for more than 2 years. My experience of F&P customer service is that it is very poor and exceedingly disappointing.
On the positive side my gas hob has never gone wrong nor has the extractor… Read Full Review
