I bought my O2 X1 a couple of months ago. It has a nice screen and takes great pictures. The downside is it freezes on average about 20-30 times a day. It started to switch itself off and hardly receives any signal. When people phoned me I could hardly hear them. Looks nice but thats about it. (read more)

I got this O2 X1 mobile phone for christmas.although ive only had it a few days ive grown quite attached to it as its a nice little phone. i had a few problems to start with because when i wanted to send a message i couldnt get the numbers out of the phonebook, i had to delete all the numbers and put them back in again and save them to the simcard (id saved them to the phone) and now i can do it. I wouldn't recommend the O2 X1 phone at all. The colour display is nice, and the camera is good in daylight, but I have had too many problems with it. Firstly, texting is very frustrating due to it being slow to catch up, and the dictionary is very annoying. The poor signal means making calls is sometimes impossible, and people can't hear you at the other end. My model also switches itself off and crashes. All o2 will offer you is a free repair. Asthetically the O2 X1 is a gorgeous phone.
As all phones it has its problems, but some of these are quite annoying.
The camera quality is excellent and has lots of features for motion capture also.
The main problem is the reception.. whilst having a conversation i find that it constantly cuts out, making it hard to have a conversation.
The phone also crashes randomly.. when viewing pictures.. when quiting games.. etc.
Maybe this is just me. if anyone else has similar problems post a message! (read more)

I think the O2 X1 phone is good if you want a free phone with a good camera and video, but if you like to text then i would not recommend this phone at all, and if freezing annoys you then don't bother buying this phone. My overall opinion of this phone is that its not for me, and i am taking it back to exchange for a nokia, as i think nothing beats a nokia, if your looking for a flip phone the Samsung E700 is the handset you want as this is a top quality phone, and camera is of a very high... I got the O2 X1 mobile phone a couple of days ago and i have to say that i have so far found it to be a superb handset. The screen is good with the 65k colours and is great for the photos and games.
The camera; this is an excellent feature and takes suprisingly good pictures for a camera phone. I like the zoom feature which comes in handy. In the shop they didn't tell me about the motion ability so was pleasantly suprised when i got it home and found it by the photo option. This is also very... (read more)

The O2 X1 is a brilliant phone with 10 second video clip capabality. Camera is good, polyphonic tones and lots of other neat features. The only bad thing i can think of is that i have been reading about a lot of people who are having problems with thier phones including reception cut outs, keypad locks etc., even after they got a replacement!
