I got my O2 X1 mobile phone, charged the battery, tried to send a text message, it took about 20 attempts before I sent one, then i tried to send an mms photo and it never worked, I rang 02 to find out that the phone has a problem, ive owned it for less than 24 hours and it does not work, thats after I put loads of credit on it, THANKS 02… Read Full Review

I got my O2 X1 mobile phone last December after checking out reviews on this site. Everyone seemed fairly positive back then but don't be fooled...I thought maybe I'd been lucky as it worked fine for almost 4 months then it started freezing when texting, switching off mid call and continually sending the same MMS to a friend on a different network!
02 sent my X1 away for repair without me even having to tell them what the fault was - they are well aware of the problems with this phone! No… Read Full Review

Basically I'm agreeing with pretty much everybody else in saying the O2 X1 is probably THE worst mobile phone ever .. Since I bought my phone 4 months ago (after waiting 1 month to actually get it) I have had to send it back to O2 as my camera suddenly started 2 decide not to work anymore ?? plus the LCD light just would not go away, plus not forgetting the now famous problems of the phone turning itself off and the picture messaging feature working for on average 1 day a month ! plus it seems… Read Full Review

I wanted a new mobile phone for my birthday. My girlfriend has a samsung V200 which i thought was really cool but i couldnt find one anywhere so i decided to buy an O2 X1 which according to the sales assistant was the next best thing. Camera, colour screen - it looked cool - but i realised that it had no phone memory when it comes to messages. fair enough it can store 250 phone numbers on the phone memory but why can it only hold 10 messages on the bloody sim card? Thats one of the reasons i… Read Full Review

I take back everything i said in my previous review!! My phone would not stop switching itself off and it was really starting to annoy me, so I took it back and it got exchanged for another O2 X1. I thought well surely this can't be the same, about an hour after it was fully charged it went off! And whenever I get an MMS my phone switches of and when I switch it back on I never get the message. I am pig-sick of this phone now and wish I had never got it! I do not want to take it back only to… Read Full Review

I have had the O2 X1 mobile phone since before Christmas, I like the features ie. camera, video, what I think is aweful is the fact the phone locks up all the time and I have to physically remove the battery to get the phone to work again and the phone turns itself off all the time, over the weekend it happened 6 times, Not good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also when a picture is taken and saved to a screen saver the quailty is very poor, very dull, surly it should be the same quality as when taken????????… Read Full Review

When the O2 X1 first caught my eye I loved it! I have only had it about a month, but I think I have sussed it out! I do love this phone and do not regret getting it! It beats my Samsung A800 hands down! It has a great colour screen and a brilliant camera, had no problem sending and recieving picture messages to different phones and networks. It is quite durable and had great quality ringtones and has a good reception. Some days it can perform a little slow but most of the time it is very quick… Read Full Review

I got an O2 X1 phone for my wife 2 weeks ago and she has had nothing but trouble with it. It will only send a picture message to other 02 phones and not to other networks, when you eventualy get on wap it freezes. The phone will recive picture messages about 2 days later we have been to the 02 shop and they have said that there is nothing wrong with the phone. NOT VERY IMPRESSED… Read Full Review

My O2 X1 keeps on freezing and blocking all the time! and when it does that I have to take the battery out and it's so annoying. To be truthful I can't wait to get a new one and get rid of it! I think that it does have some good points but the bad seem to take over all the good! does anyone know how much I would get for it if I trade it in?? If you do let me know... is it worth it?… Read Full Review

The O2 X1 is a good buy. The mobile phone is efficient with lots to offer. Its intergrated camera works well and the photo quality is excellent. The games can freeze but it can be repaired if you still have your receipt. All in all i think the 02 X1 is worth buying if you have some spare cash on your hands… Read Full Review

Firstly, the phone freezes quite alot which is really annoying when you've just typed a text message!Secondly the texting itself is very slow! Also the display on the flip screen has gone off and i cant get it back on.Then the backlight was going faulty, turning on and off when it pleased. And to top it off it has very poor reception as i recieve text messages weeks after they have been sent!!!It… Read Full Review

Having had this O2 X1 mobile phone for 3 months now, I have had good experience of it. I realise the problems people have had with it, but there are also a few good things to come out of this phone. Whenever I play a game on the phone and I recieve a text my phone freezes up and I have to take the battery out in order for it to work again. I haven't had any other buggy problems, but I find the interface very slow to load and it is very sluggish. I got this phone Free on an O2 Online contract… Read Full Review

The O2 X1 is a rubbish mobile phone! The navigation of the menus system is appalling.Theres no infra-red or bluetooth, the graphics and ringtones are so cartoony and childish like its aimed at 5 year olds, there is no active flip to answer calls just by opening the flip, the T9 text input is hard to figure out, you cant scroll through the ringtones whilst listening to one of them, if you try to scroll it stops playing. The camera is poor quality and the 2 games it comes with are very boring. yes… Read Full Review

When I bought the O2 X1 phone I loved it. It was the 'bees knees'. Then I realized that when it crashed, it wasn't just the one-off, it was every single minute. If you want a nice phone for a bit more cash buy the Samsung E700. Lovely phone. Another rubbish phone is the Nokia N-Gage… Read Full Review

I have read all the other reviews on this O2 X1 mobile phone and i think some of them have been harsh. so far i have only encountered minor problems with this phone. as i have done with every other fone i have had in the past. i think the phone has a quality camera and colour screen and so far havent had any problems with the reception. it did however take me a while to work out that if you hold down the * key on the main menu you can get rid of that awful noise when it tells you your balance… Read Full Review

This O2 X1 is the worst mobile phone i have ever purchased in my life do not buy this phone!! i've had more trouble with it than its worth. The phone keeps crashing and turning itself off when writing messages and also when playing games. WAP is poor and sometimes unresponsive. It only holds 10 TXT MSGS!! for a new "State of the art" phone i can't believe it uses the sim memory!
The signal is very poor also.
All round this phone is not worth it. its nice when it works but there is too many… Read Full Review

This O2 X1 mobile phone is a good phone and would be a great phone if it didn't freeze all the time. The games stopped working about a month after I got the phone and O2 said that there was basically nothing that i could do about it because i bought it from the o2 website and not from the high street store. The phone takes great pictures and i found it really easy to send them to other phones. All in all i think that this would be the best phone available if it didn't mess up all the time… Read Full Review

I ordered the o2 x1 as an upgrade, and was rather annoyed when it arrived, and didn't have an IR interface as stated in o2's own instore brochure.
So I tried to find out if I could get a data cable to transfer photos from the phone.
It seems o2 don't have a single product specialist capable of answering the simplest questions, like 'How much for a data cable?'. Clueless, utterly clueless. I ended up making a dozen or so phone calls to o2, and nobody knew thing. I got lots of opinion, but no… Read Full Review
