    I have attended this event at least four time previously and I have to say this year I was very disappointed. What happened to the top floor?

    The Ideal Home Exhibition was much smaller than last year. The popular upstairs area with large food court, demonstrations etc had gone. Much fewer exhibitors too. At 14 pound it is grossly expensive. Just how do they justify that price for a smaller show? Over the last few years the exhibition has ...

    Really disappointing considering it was the 100th show. Has put me off going again. Nothing more than an expensive look round the local DIY store.

    Very dowdy and very few girly stalls. Disappointing. Where were the dozens of food stalls that used to be there years ago. This was supposed to be the centenary.

    I totally agree with the first review. We too haven't been to the ideal home show for a few years. We were really looking forward to the usual hustle and bustle of getting in to the exhibition as early as possible and racing straight to the showhomes to avoid the queues which usually build up thro ...

    An expensive day £16 each to get in for half of the normal show, catering is appalling, expensive and run by 16yr olds.

    The show is dead and should be buried with some dignity.

    Ideal Home Show is shrinking only 1 floor being used and a very limited choice of exhibitors. I felt cheated as it's £14 to get in. Won't bother next year

    I found the Ideal Home Show to be expensive and virtually the same exhibitors as last year trying to sell you the same things. I wouldn't recommend this - even if you get a free ticket.

    Ideal Home Show review - I have just returned from the 08 Home show and am really disappointed. Where are all the stands? There just wasn't anything there! We went to be inspired but would have been better served spending an afternoon round our local B and Q.
