My Wife and Mother law have been visiting this show for years. My Mother in law for over 30 years, she came back from Cyprus to see this years show! First thing we noticed was where have all the exhibits gone!We had planned a whole weekend around the show, as we assumed by the end we'd be tired and ...

I visited yesterday and was hugely disappointed. It took 20 minutes to get a coffee (due to inefficiency of staff rather than crowds) and all the content looked tired an in need of a kick up the backside. I think that the show has had its day - I'll be going to Grand Designs Live from now on!

Don't waste your time. Thank goodness my friend and I are from the London area as I would hate to think we had travelled a long way for a day out. If you want ideas for your home you are better going to your local DIY store.

Mostly stuff and brands on High Street and Internet. EXPENSIVE at £15.00 entrance fee, coupled with parking at £24.00, also the food was expensive. I really believe the Ideal Home Exhibitions was a waste of my day! Simply not worth it.

Fantastic show full of great ideas and companies - the layout is better now that they have got rid of all the cheap tat - why go to a home show to buy make up??! I could finally go around the show at my own pace without being jostled - much better than before.

The Dream House was spectacular and much better than last years - I came away with a lot of good ideas!

Bet they dont have meatballs in there , reads the Ikea poster on the approach to this years Ideal Home Exhibition. Ah, methinks: if Ikeas on the defensive, this is going to be worth every penny of the 11 pound ticket price. So, in I go, purchasing a 5pound centenary exhibition guide (scarcely more ...

If this is the Centenary show then heaven help us next year. Now reduced to only one floor, the show is a shadow of its former self. We have been enthusiastic annual attenders but may give it a miss next year.

I took my mum for her mothers day gift, spending 52 for the two of us. All I spent was 10pound on some sausages!! Need I say more- very disappointing. Walked around twice and still had 3hrs to spare. Usually rush round to see all the variety.
Will not be going again any time soon.

I have been visiting the Ideal Home Show for the last 10 years and was shocked and disappointed when I visited this year.
A lot of the regular exhibitors over the years were nowhere to be seen. All the stands were situated on the ground floor and everything was a mish mash which made it very confu ...
