    As with so many companies these days "sorry" is a word that doesn't pass the lips of their staff easily. As a result, at some point in your dealings with them you will feel the need to say something like "Isn't this where you say - 'I'm sorry Mr/Mrs Customer.......'

    The post office informed my son if they hadn't received proof of his security system that they would cancel his policy he was told to fax them through to the customer service agent before the 13th feb, so we faxed them on the 12th then he gets a letter saying they cancelled the policy on the 11th du ...

    My son applied for fully comp car insurance with post office, aged 26 other years just 3rd party, his trade is a car macanic. he was not told at point of sale that because of his job 3rd party cover to drive other cars not owned by him would be disallowed.

    Very unhelpful customer service. I spoke to one of their colleagues about my cirumstances but later when I phoned again for another purpose they didnt have any record if it.

    I did not realise there were charges attached if you want to change vehicle(eg buy new car) and I think this should be made clear at purchase of policy, although competitive initially after charges I am not convinced.

    For years I accepted the renewal from another company. When I compared prices instead of £278 third party fire & theft (including breakdown of £94) the Post Office offered me fully comprehensive car insurance for £125.
