I love Fake Bake Self Tan Cream as I am very pale skinned I have found that most tans go too dark. Fake bake goes a really natural colour and doesn't go streaky or orange. I have also used St Tropez a lot but find that within 2 days as it fades it goes patchy, looking like it is wearing off. A lot of people I have spoken to about it say the same. This is not the case for fake bake as it fades like a natural tan and lasts about a week if you apply moisturiser. Would really really recommend it to… Read Full Review

Fake Bake self tan cream is the worst sunless tanner I've ever tried. The worst thing is my skin had a terrible reaction to it, and I don't have very sensitive skin. I'm still trying to get rid of all the bumps on my body, and there was barely any color! You're better off driving to a drug store and buying a 10 dollar bottle of sunless tanner. 99% of them work better than this!… Read Full Review

I wouldn't recommend this to newbies as its so pigmented it's scary to put on - you look so dark! But you shower it off in the morning. Also don't use it if you have expensive bed clothing as it can take several hot washes to get it off your sheets :(. However if you are used to fake tans then go for it as the colour is great and its easy to quickly build up a good colour. But do exfoliate as its easy to have dark patches on dry bits… Read Full Review

I was a St Tropez worshiper before I became a poor student, I have very fair skin that doesn't tan easily and when I do it just makes me look like normal people do in winter! Then my friend who is as luminous white as me recommended fake bake, I shopped around online, read all the reviews etc and found the three pack for a very reasonable price. I was a little scared at first as it's been about two years since I used a real fake tan, not this moisturizer stuff, but still couldn't be bothered… Read Full Review

I used Kake Bake Self tan Cream before I went on vacation and had no time to work on my tan. so I needed something that would get me really dark fast. I have used EVERY brand of self tanner. I heard about Fake Bake online, and I figured I'd give it a shot. So I bought the whole kit, the oil, lotion and exfoliator. When I first put it on, the color guide (which everyone thinks is the actual tanner) was SO dark. I could never leave the house with it on, so I highly suggest putting this tanner on… Read Full Review

As someone who never tans - just burns (due to my fair skin, I have used a lot of various fake tans over the years (having resorted to the highest SPF factor I can find).
I was browsing the internet one day and came across a site for Fake Bake. It sounded worth a try, so I went to my trusty hair and beauty site (www.salonlines.co.uk) and they had it, as always at a great price and with next day delivery. (Please see my previous posts on Salonlines - They have every hair and beauty product you… Read Full Review

Fake Bake Self Tan Cream, on the whole, is a good tanning lotion, but it didn't really work for me. I was happy with the results the first time I used it, but then after using it a couple more times, I noticed that eczema had developed on the fronts of my arm. I could also see small slightly rough patches of skin forming in sporadic places; mainly on my arms and back, but I carried on using it thinking that they would go. However, the more I used it, the worse they got, until they were bigger… Read Full Review

I get very pale in the winter time and this product has been great for me. Its very messy when you first apply and it takes a while to dry properly. You look like you've been rolling around in mud but the color you get the in next morning its all worth it… Read Full Review

I have been using Fake Bake self tan cream for about 3 months now. I only use a fake tan on special occasions, and I have therefore only used it twice so far, but both times I have found it very easy to use. The smell is OK; bearable at any rate, and the results have always been fantastic. I get a very natural looking tan after using it, and I always receive positive comments, especially from people who haven't seen me for a while, who always ask where I have been on holiday.
A recommended… Read Full Review

I have been using Fake Bake for a month and a 1/2. I love it!! I use it 2 times a week, and I am so dark, it looks like I have tanned in Florida or Hawaii. I love it because it looks so natural. I have told all my friends and family about Fake Bake.
I use the lotion. It's the first one I bought, and I loved it so much, that's the only one I tried. Why try something else if the lotion works? My mom and my friends have bought it and we all love it. My friend was so pale, if it worked for her it… Read Full Review

Used this 3 times now - love it would recommend it to anyone. Very pasty and don't tan too well in sun. I tried Booths and st Tropez in salon all rubbish and streaky.
Put it on looked like I'd been mud wrestling then went to bed. Woke up rinsed off in shower with water and looked lubbly! golden goddess for sure! OK not quite but nice and sunkissed which for me was a shock. Used twice over next 4 days and after a week colour has only just started to fade. Next time will use 2 days in a row to… Read Full Review

Very good result with more natural ingredients. Gives a good natural looking brown colour but I gave up on it after a while because it was just too messy for regular use. Fine for occasional applications for big events but make sure to tie it in with wash day!… Read Full Review

It is easy to see where you have applied Fake Bake. You do still end up a bit streaky, but I have yet to see a fake tan that does not do this. Fake Bake gives a nice overall colour.
It does not age well, and if you don't keep applying it you end up with uneven patches of brown dry skin that seems to resist exfoliating. You also look like a coal miner for the hours during post application while you are waiting for it to work.
It's great if you have an occasion to be brown for, like a wedding… Read Full Review

Fake Bake is the best tanning product I have used at home, although application is sometimes tricky, and you do tend to look a bit like a chimney sweep before washing it off the next morning. It is good value for money, and I would definitely recommend it… Read Full Review

Fake Bake Self Tan Cream is not worth the hassle. When it rained streaks of brown ran down my arms. My clothes were all stained brown around blouse necks, etc., and my towels were ruined. Comes off when you wash, sweat or brush against furniture… Read Full Review

I apply Fake Bake early in the evening and sleep with it on, then I rinse it off in the morning and apply another coat, as I think the first application acts more like a primer on the skin.
After showering late in the evening it reveals an intense bronze colour to my skin, which looks great! I moisturise every day and I find the tan lasts for about 5 days on me.
It is an absolute foolproof self-tan, and no one would know it was from a bottle… Read Full Review

I have always liked a tan, and I used a sunbed for 15 years and then I became pregnant, so it was not a good idea to use them. Then I came across Fake Bake. It has natural ingredients and it is safe to use. The colour was very natural, but it was a bit messy to use. I have not looked backed, and I have never used a sunbed since thanks to Fake Bake. I recommend it to anyone… Read Full Review

I am very pleased with Fake Bake. This product is the best self tan I have used so far, and I have used a few.
The colour is very convincing. It advised to leave it on overnight, but I found an hour was enough. When you apply it, it is best to start at the bottom of your legs and work up, just brushing over your knees lightly. Do not apply it to your feet just yet. Work up your body making sure to rub in circular movements. When applied all over, apply lightly to the feet and backs of hands… Read Full Review

Fake Bake Self Tan Cream does go on dark, so do not apply before company arrives. Play with the lotion until you get to know the product and how it goes on. I like to use this product outside while sitting in the sun, it helps dry the lotion. I like to apply this as the foundation for my make-up. Once you get the hang of how it applies to the your skin, then you can apply before going out on the town… Read Full Review
