All in all the Ford Ka is a fantastic car. Mine has 71,000 miles on the clock & has had hardly no mantainance done. Still going strong, no cambelt but engine tends to be tappety on high revs. I think that I must of set a land speed record for one of these as the fastest I have pushed is 112 mph whic ...

I bought my Ford Ka Collection back in October 2001. It had one previous owner and was in very good condition with just over 5,000 miles on the clock. It has air conditioning, electric front windows, PAS, a CD autochanger and metallic paint as standard. Originally I wasn't going to buy a Ka - was ne ...

I bought my Ka2 2nd hand (4500quid) about 2 and a half yrs ago. Now it's five and still going strong. I'm living in Germany at the moment and as such, use the famous speed limitless Autobahns regularly. The wee thing hammers along at 100mph, no problem.
The top speed according to the handbook is I ...

I have done 8,500 miles in my Ford Ka in 5 months and it's been a great car. Drove to Preston from Bristol, Luton, London, Cardiff here, there, all over the place! I will stick with these great little cars. I have driven for my job sometimes a Jeep. What a horrid tank of a car that is. Give me my Ka ...

The Ford Ka engine is, in my opinion, about right. Tough as a tank, it'll take a major thrashing (35mph in first!). Plus it is ultra reliable and will start first time every time. Ford have put in a workhorse engine. In the wet it slides around corners like a peach wih a good mix of power in 2nd and ...

I've had a Ford Ka Collection now for two years. It's been a great car and has managed to get across from the North of England to Geneva with no problems.

It's only let down by two things. I've driven many cars and the quality of the seat fabric is terrible. After 20,000 miles the fabric has worn ...

The Ford KA is ok for Town driving as well as on the Motorways, however the engine is ok at low speeds, but once you get to 50mph or going up a hill on a Motorway or have passengers or luggage, then the KA needs more engine power. The Hifi and Speakers are very good. Even if you drive the car on a w ...
