Although the Hotpoint FDW80 dishwasher looks good, it is the worst dishwasher in the world when it comes to loading. The baskets are useless, and because of this you can't fill it properly, so it takes 2 washes to do one load.
I would never buy another one of these. We have had it for less than 6 ...

I am so gutted i gave my 10 year old Bosch machine away as i want it back, this is my second replacement machine, the first one was dented and the controls were loose, this one also has a loose control panel and doesnt give a decent wash.
Trying to get my money back but having a hard time! ...

Got my Hotpoint FDW80 dishwasher 11-2-05 had a Hotpoint engineer come out 12-4-05 as I had AL10 fault. Then a week later then 3 days later then was offered a replacement on 2-5-05 never got the new until 31-9-05 on the 10-11-05 got same fault hate this dishwasher and would never buy again.
