i think this stuff is amazing! i've been using it on my hair, which was dyed about 2 months ago, and it faded to a couple of shades above my natural colour, i've been using it everytime i wash my hair, i blow dry my hair, and i've been catching the sun on my hair. and my hair is a completely different colour to what it was before i started using this product.
it's so good!:)
i love that i have certain parts of my hair that are streaked lighter than the rest, it looks so… Read Full Review

I have dark brown hair but I have used Sun In for years. It gives a really natural look, however it does damage the hair and causes it to look like starw. You can't use it on colured hair as it goes orange. I now have grey hair and it dosen't colour grey hair. I wish it could be used on colured but sadly it can't be… Read Full Review

I thought I'd review, as I don't see many from people with dark brown hair - my natural colour. I have used sun-in super on and off for the best part of 18years, in fact it's the only colourant/bleach I have ever used. Recommended to me whilst in high school I tried it sparingly at first as I wanted to 'highlight' but was worried the contrast with my own colour would be a disaster. Not the case!. So I still use, especially in summer, taking a few strands from all over my head and applying it… Read Full Review

I remember when i was 16 years old and went on holiday to spain before i went to college. I thought why not use sun in spray to lighten my locks and have a fresh look for a new adventure at college. But low and behold my hair turned ginger after only a few sprays and lazying in the sun. Ever since that day i have been called Barney Rubble (from the flinstones) and it has ruined my life, Sun in Spray i hate you.
don't worry it hasn't actually ruined my life, just for a week anyway!!!… Read Full Review

SUN-IN is kind of a light bleach, is has to be used very carefully. I've used it for many years and I once ruined my hair before because I overused it and it was orangey blond. My natural color is light brown-dark blond and I acheive a natural light blond color right now. I spray my hair one part at a time and I heat with a straightener at 300 degrees instead of the blow dryer, it is really a lot less orangey, more natural blond not too gold. I have very fine hair that get damaged really… Read Full Review

i recently started using sunin as i got bored of my naturally mousey blonde hair, wanting to bleach it. but i figured as i'm a student, i don't have the funds to afford to keep up with the roots of bleaching my hair. so i found sunin. the first few applications didnt seem to make a great amount of difference, although my parents and some friends could tell, i guess it's cause i wanted REALLY blonde hair! now, after a few weeks, i am able to see the results of it, and i am noticing that it is… Read Full Review

Recommended by my hairdresser he must be mad this has saved me a fortune over the years really easy to use. FANTASTIC results I have used it for many years and I am 57 and my natural hair colour was mid brown. My hair has looks lovely and in great condition and I am regularly asked how I achieve this ~ I am one of the products biggest fans. Despite having grey in my hair my 'Sun in' lightened hair blends beautifully with my increasing grey. All this with my 'good for my age' complexion… Read Full Review

Sun in is amazing. I have quite blonde hair anyway (quite an unusual pale golden colour) but it goes dark in the winter. Sunin takes it back to my summer colour.
More importantly I dyed my hair very dark brown last year (almost black) against the wishes of my hairdresser who told me I'd never be able to get my natural hair colour back. The colour started fading and I wanted to go blonde again but all the hairdressers kept saying they couldn't do anything but bleach it and it wouldn't be my… Read Full Review

It might not be for everyone but if your hair is in good condition, straight and mid brown/ dark blonde GO FOR IT!
I used this product two years ago as i had light brown hair to lighten the colour and give me a few highlights, it worked an absolute dream, my hair looked so natural and stayed in good condition as I used a shampoo and conditioner for highlighted hair, a year later I dyed it brown NO NONE OF MY HAIR FELL OUT!
I then recently wanted to go back to blonde so went to the… Read Full Review

I'm 18 years old and I began using Sun In about a year ago. This product is very good if you don't plan on using any chemical dyes on your hair afterward. After using this product, I bleached my hair and it completely melted it. It was horrid and I had to cut all of it off and re-dye it a dark brown color. Now that my hair is healthy again, I decided I wanted to have lighter hair, but I didn't want to dye it again seeing as how I had JUST dyed it dark brown. So I purchased Sun In once again… Read Full Review

Ok... So I'm 13 years old and I bought this product behind my mum's back because she didn't think it would work and that I'd be wasting my money. I applied it to wet hair, combed it through etc etc... And then I dried it with a hairdryer, since it's winter where I am. I noticed results after 1 application! I have sort of dirty blonde hair, so I didn't really expect it to work but I got bleachy highlights! I plan on using it again so that I really get lighter hair :) It was really good value (At… Read Full Review

Sun In works really well if you know how to use it correctly. However, it does have metalics in it that can stay in your hair for months. These metalics do react with some hair dyes and can dissolve your hair. So if you plan on dying your hair after using it, do a test strand first.
But other then that it is slightly safter to use them bleach. It doesn't damage your hair as much, and doesn't cause it to fall out. However, it can cause irritation to the scalp, and for the first few days… Read Full Review

I have naturally dark/course Asian hair and I always go back to Sun-In. Been using it for over 10 years. You just need to know your hair and learn how to use it. The more product you put on the lighter your hair gets, so yes, about halfway through the bottle my hair would obviously lift to a reddish brown. But once I do finish a bottle it is a very light, almost ashy brown. Obviously besides our natural base color, everyones hair still react differently. Stripping my hair with bleach has far… Read Full Review

I have long dirty blonde hair and i use sun in to lighten my hair to a lighter blonde shade and IT WORKS!
This is not for people with very dark brown or black hair! Why would you even think it was a good idea to use it on really dark hair???
I use the super sun in. I wet or wash my hair, spray it in, brush it through, blow dry and then wash my hair straight away. this stops it continuing to work, which means i can control the colour.
I would not advise anyone to keep this in there hair for… Read Full Review

I highly recommend NOT to use it! first I loved the look but now 2months on my hair is like gum when wet and when its dry the ends are like straw. I Im too embarrassed to go to hairdressers so guna have to let it grow out. Its disgusting that something like this is sold in highstreet. I would sue if I cud, it is such a confidence knock. PRODUCT NAME: SUN-IN SUPER.
I have hair down to the start of my trousers tops, its lovely and soft and took 9 years to grow with regualr cuts, oh and did i mention its YELLOW!!This stuff i soo bad, i used it to get a nice blonde hair as i was not sure that dye would work, and now after it started to grow out i thought i would dye it back to brown, but i could not as nothing can go onto the hair with the product in it as it will heat and either burn your scalp to the point you need hospital… Read Full Review
