My suspected my card has been compromised (identity theft?) and as you can imagine I'm a tad stressed about it. Did Abbey help? No.
I rang to ask about some unidentifiable transactions, the department said they would look in to it and "suggested" I stop my card, why is it a different dept I have to ...

I've had nothing but problems trying to get a replacement card sent as my old one expired on 31 May. For some reason, someone within Abbey changed my address to one that I have never heard of, and my new card was sent there. Their call centres are shocking. I used to be so pleased with the service f ...

I have had this account for a number of years but I have become exasperated by unkept promises of return phone calls. I am about to transfer to another bank's account.

I've had it with Abbey - after 11 years they've finally upset me enough that I'm voting with my feet. If you're thinking of joining them, my advice would be to think again.

I hate Abbey! I have been a customer for 20 years and watched the decline into this current mess they laughably call a "service". They have no idea which departments exist and I am sick of being told to "visit my local branch" when my account clearly states that I have moved abroad. I have been told ...

A few years I moved my principle banking away from Abbey because they were not prepared to offer a bridging loan unless I took out a mortgage with them. The delays they caused in getting the bridging in place lost me the house I was after.
I am now shutting down my last Abbey account as I have move ...

I've been with the Abbey for 10 years and I had a mortgage with them which they recommended a 5 year fixed rate and as soon as I took out the mortgage the interest rates fell BIG TIME. So i was paying well over £150 a month more than I should have. Ok fair enough these things happen, but occas ...
