“Total shambles”

We attempted to book a trip to Dublin and found reasonable flights on Lastminute.com. After 24 hours, still no confirmation email. We suspected an issue with the tickets, so attempted to call the company to find out if there was an issue. We were redirected and then immediately cut off. “total miss sellers and still trading , why do we support ?”

I booked a cheap flight via lastminute.com. I can't afford expensive flights so I picked a cheaper deal but because of unforeseen circumstances I needed to modify my booking. First I contacted them to find out what I could do and they mentioned a sort of high price which I could not believe. A new development in the case that I am trying to get my ticket cancelled and according to this knowledgeable lastminute the airport taxes are not refundable. haha. I explained them that they are refundable as they are taxes paid just after passengers got on board. The taxes are paid to the local government. If passengers don't fly they are entitled to claim all the taxes back. But lastminute won't let me claim it. A link to prove that taxes are refundable.
Companies like lastminute should not be allowed to operate as they are tricking people who spend their hard-earned money.

A new development is that when I talk to them they hang up and later they say the line disconnected. I wanted to change my flight date and now the 543 pound flight which is displayed on their website is offered for me for 800 pounds. They say KLM gives them this price. I asked them to write this down in an e-mail to make sure I have evidence of it he sends me an almost empty e-mail with lots of evasive answers. When I ask why he doesn't answer he hangs up. This guy was Sherman from lastminute.com and he is rather unhelpful. A few days ago they told me I would get 80 pounds back but today they say I must pay a 100 pounds if I want to cancel. Really? This can't be true. Jokers.

WE were due to go to Manchester for a course and booked our hotel through lastminute.com over the phone, the initial quote was 312 for 3 nights, whilst making the booking i confirmed breakfast was included but was told that the adviser will check and was placed on hold. The adviser kept me on hold for about 5 mins and then came back and said no its not included and to have it added for the us it would be 70 pounds bringing the total to 382 which i paid. I recently brought a ticket. For the past 6 hours it has stated the price of the ticket I wanted was £546.36 but because I didn't know where to put my middle name I decided to ring for some advice. Then all of a sudden the price of the ticket had gone up to £572.92. “two experiences, both terible”

First time I used them, the website crashed after taking payment and I had to spend 45 mins on the phone to a guy in India who tried to help me book the hotel I wanted, in the end I just got a refund from them and then went to the hotel and made a booking there. I booked some theatre tickets via lastminute.com in advance. On the day, they called me 30 minutes!! before the show (I was right in front of the box office) and told me that my booking was rejected by the theatre. “Awful company, awful customer service”

Lastminute.com has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I booked a flight which was subsequently cancelled by the airline. They told me that I could either rebook there and then (via a different airport the service agent couldn't pronounce and didn't know the location of) or receive a full refund. I opted for a refund. “Horrible To Deal With”

I have spent hours on the phone and ten emails trying to get satisfaction from this company. They never confirmed my hotel reservation even after my sending two urgent messages to do so. Then, I went to the hotel and they did not have the reservation as well. Booked a return flight to Tampa via Paris with these clowns. Excellent to deal with until they have your money. Found out that my return flight from Tampa to Paris was cancelled quite by accident. Contacted their call centre in India I think. Kept promising to deal with this and ring me back, they never did. After 4 days and numerous phone calls they came up with an alternative. If theres a problem you'll have2 speak to someone from india…no offence but they are obviously in a call centre and are not connected with anyone who is going to sort anything out for you. Everytime you call them they have to put you on hold to read your file on the computer. Their departments are disjointed and don't communicate. we booked a hotel in London through their website for which they charged 100%. On reaching the hotel they mention they have maintenance issues & no room is available shifting us to a sister property which was further away. We asked for a refund & they said we need to contact Lastminute.com. On contacting Lastminute.com they say they will check with hotel. They kept with this game & finally say will refund only 20%. Booked a last minute hotel in Disney Orlando for the weekend. Got a confirmation email and number. After a long day traveling we arrive at the hotel (Art of Animation) which is on Disney property only to be told the reservation didn't exist.
