I booked two www.lastminute.comtickets on the 14th of August for Birmingham to Paris on the 15th with two nights in a hotel included for £373.00. Got a confirmation via e mail saying that my bookings went through. Get to the airport the next day and find out my flights have been cancelled but the hotel booking wasn't. I am disgusted with the service I received from Lastminute.com and would never book with them again. I booked flights to Edinburgh for 2 people and received a confirmation email. I telephoned to ask for a business receipt and was told on the phone that our flights had been cancelled by the airline. They made us book on exactly the same flights and pay a higher price. I made a theatre booking way in advance, and realized seconds after submitting my order that I had clicked on the wrong date by mistake. I contacted them straight away to ask them to move the booking by 1 week, and they said they could not. Apparently it is just tough luck. I found it hard to talk to someone and the email responses I received seemed to be stock replies which did not answer all of my specific questions. I booked a hotel with lastminute.com and then cancelled it myself. Lastminute say it's a coincidence that the hotel would have charged me, as their normal rate is £20 less than I paid. As the web site of the hotel in which we were scheduled to stay did not have any pictures of the beach, I called lastminute.com, and they confirmed that the hotel was located on the beach. This is the worst online experience I have ever had! After trying to book a weekend break with Last Minute I made it to the purchase page on their web site. It kept telling me that there was a problem with my transaction and suggested that I retry. I did this four times until I was told that my bank had rejected my transaction. I then found out that they had charged me four times (that's £4000), and at no point did I get a confirmation.

I had a bad experience with Last Minute.com when I tried to cancel my hotel reservation.
I purchase three nights at a hotel three days in advance. I then had to cancel the reservation five hours later, and found that I was charged for the first night + tax.
They have a 72 hours policy starting to count at 12:01AM, 3 days before you check in. Thus, the 72 hours policy in reality is more than 72 hours. This is very important to keep in mind, because when I cancelled my reservation I was not… Read Full Review

I booked a flight for my family and paid with a debit card. They took money from my account immediately.
I waited for 5 days to get my ticket and then I tried to contact them. They told me that they are not able to complete my booking and will refund my money in 10 days.
Their contact number in the UK makes it impossible to speak to a person if you are calling to follow up a booking and their email correspondence is done from India and each reply takes one day.

Booked flights, hotel and car parking through lastminute.com. None of the services I booked were particularly cheap. When I settled up at the hotel they charged me an additional 'tourist tax' (£7) because I booked through lastminute.com. We booked with lastminute.com to fly from Heathrow to San Francisco, and return from Los Angeles. The prices were the best we could find, and our confirmation arrived almost immediately. We could not find any other online service which allowed arrival and departure from different airports.

Be very wary of Last Minute .com's "Top Secret Hotels" deal. Described as fabulous, 5* luxury but so secret their partners don't even want to put their name to them.
Wondering why? We booked 4 nights at a 5* hotel in Mayfair. It turned out to be a beautiful hotel in a quality chain, but currently undergoing major refurbishment. We checked out the recent reviews on the web and here's an example:-
