Lastminute.com's customer complaints service is terrible.
Booked a SenS spa treatment a very reduced price offer,through Last minute.com.
The appointment was cancelled two days before by SenS spa,no explaination, no apology, no offer of a refund.
Lastminute.com seem to have decided that-
A The paid for,confirmed booking was not a definate appointment.
B Somehow it was my choice to cancel.

Terrible service and they never answer the phone. I assume because they know whoever is calling is calling to complain. We booked tickets for the Lion King in NYC. I went to will call to get them and they were not there. I called the company that instant, and they said they called my house that morning to tell me they couldn't get the tickets. We booked a 'Secret Hotel' which was advertised as being close to the City Centre in Venice. After paying, we found out it was in a completely different city about 15 miles from Venice!!!! False advertising. We tried to get our money refunded but they refused, saying they would pay for transfers from the airport instead.

Booked a a Top Secret Hotel in Nice for a week holiday. They have advertised the hotel as 'elegant, cose to airport and beach' it turned out to be a the Park Inn Hotel at the Airport (400m away). We used lastminute.com to book a hotel room in NYC. After booking we were notified by lastminute.com that our credit card company would not allow the transaction to go through because it was a foreign transaction. It turns out lastminute.com banks through Israel. After multiple phone calls to our credit card company as well as to lastminute.com we finally were able to complete the transaction. Booked a flight from within the us as I am a us citizen,the flight was from NYC to florida. However I was charged in British pounds almost 90 dollars more than what was listed in my confirmation email. Wish I could give Zero. I booked a flight from lastminute.com from Delhi to London. Payment was taken; I received the confirmation mail and the ticket. Before flying I checked the ticket with Emirates airline and they also confirmed the booking and issued the PNR number. Booked Eurostar Disney package via Eurostar: attempt 1 failed but their payment service took my money and they then said they would take 72 hours to refund. Advised I try again as they could not process the package over the phone (why?). Attempt 2 also failed although this time no money was taken allegedly. Terrible company! After making a hotel booking I caught my flight to NYC and on arrival received an email saying my booking was cancelled. I was stranded and had to pay for an expensive out of budget Hotel as a result.
After many calls, most dropped or transferred, I was told the refund had been put through but it took two weeks for it to be completed by them (excluding the bank processing time)

Be very careful when using this site - they hide small tab boxes with important information very well - . Their solution when complaining is to get you spend more money...before giving a refund on the previous transaction.

Booked flight and holiday, received e-mail saying it was all confirmed from lastminute.com. Arrived at Heathrow, no air ticket, no hotel reservation. Phoned helpline (by this time the flight we had paid for and taken off) and was told there was a technical hitch. No hitch with them taking our money though!
No holiday! Have used company many times before for theatre breaks etc never had a problem. Very very disappointed and have wasted time, money and our annual leave.

This company is an absolute shambles. No clear agreement between them and the hotels they advertise in respect of VAT invoices. I have wasted days trying to get this sorted and have been constantly bounced back and forth between lastminute.com and the hotel. Neither prepared to accept responsibility. If you are going to go with an accommodation website, I would recommend going with wotif.com.au or similar before lastminute.com.au. Their mid-price hotels are sub-standard, the secret deals are misleading, their telephone operators require some training in manners. This is the first time I have written a review and not one to complain but I found consistently found lastminute.com.au to be deceptive. Never use Lastminute.com as I found out. I booked in a well known hotel chain company for three nights and was very dissapointed on the first night. I was constantly woken throughout the night with noises coming from outside at the macdonalds untill midnight and twice during the night from the room next door untill 1.30am followed by someone above the room constantly walking and banging at 3.30 am untill 5am.

This company is a joke, I booked a hotel room as a surprise for myself and my partner but after booking room the hotel informed me there were no rooms and Last Minute should never of booked it.
