We booked a Holiday through last minute .com, To old palace resort sahl hasheesh Hurghada it's was so easy straight forward, the staff on the phone was helpful we experienced no problems what so ever. We just had to download our tickets, and then went to the airport all with no fuss. The plane was lovely and large with quite a bit of leg room we flew with monarch 330.

Painful experience. I wouldn't recommend Last Minute to my worst enemy. I booked a white water rafting trip to find out the day before it was cancelled. I had already booked a car and hotel. I have tried numerous times to get a refund and it has proven to be very difficult. A classic example of a company taken your money and not following up with the customer. Terrible customer service! I am very disappointed with lastminute.com. I booked an 'experience' for my wife for Mother's day which included a goodie bag and bubbly but we did not receive this even though we paid over the odds extra in addition to the experience.

Lastminute.com can be summed up in three simple words......Waste of space. We booked two nights accommodation through them on 02/07/09 (from 18/07/09). Credit card charged 03/07/09. Heard nothing by 06/07/09. Checked with the Hotel who had not received a booking (in fact they had been fully booked for some months and had no rooms). After my booking was confirmed and i found out the name of my hotel- i did a quick search and within 1 minute, found 2 websites who offered my a cheaper deal. I am mighty peeved off. I am now waiting for an answer from them.

My husband booked a spa break for my xmas present, we received the email confirmation with a booking reference and instructions to ring the hotel direct to book the inclusive spa treatments before we arrived.

Get this.... I do not travel. I stay close to home since the economy has left my husband out of a job after 18 years of dedication with his company. Some days ago I tried to book a flight to Brazil. While I was heading towards the end of the booking procedure - i.e. I gave my credit card details already - the website got stuck. I looked at my credit card account and found out that the money had been already grabbed. Booked a hotel in London in November 2008. Marriott Park Lane. Booking went through, everything was fine. Confirmation of the deal arrived.
Then, after two days, LastMinute.com cancelled the deal and as far as I am aware they had not tried to contact me at all.
I am an experienced traveller, and have used the internet for years when it comes to plan trips for me and my family. This has never happened to me before. So I say: I do not recomemnd LastMminute.com.

1st - thought the holiday representative could have been more helpful.
2nd - the flight times are unknown when I booked my holiday it seemed.

If you must book with lastminute be very aware of this issue. If you check on internet forums and review sites you will see that thousands of people have had this problem. Apparently I signed up for some kind of offer unknowingly...something to do with ticking or unticking a box when I made my lastminute.com booking!

I bought a flight ticket for Italy 6 month ago. The trip features were: 16 hours of flight and only one stop.
