Don't waste your time. I did not book with lastminute.com because both times I selected a specific trip/dates/hotel the advertised price was not available. Supposedly an alternate airline ticket had to be selected, which increased the cost of the trip by $150-$300… Read Full Review

This sounds similar to my experience with lastminute. I am surprised that this company still has any customers, I was treated so poorly, I will not use them again.

Advice customers to stay well clear, they took my money and for no reason cancelled my confirmed booking at the last minute - I then have to WAIT TEN DAYS TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM THEM. Hours of waiting on phone number, if you get through they cut you off. LAST MINUTE . CON

In general, lastminute.com offers a range of lower price flights compared to other travel agents, especially when you book in advance. I have not tried the customer service on phone, but the online service was quite good, and by now, I have not got any bad experience about this website. Booked a holiday through LastMinute.com - the prices looked very tempting, when I had agreed all the details you slowly watch all the prices rise so if you only have £500 to spend you can ignore any holiday priced over £400. The hidden extras make no sense at all. Fuel surcharge? Why am I being charged this? Can I take my own fuel and not pay this? I found that they tried to fob me off with excuses of technical errors to, and tried to blame everyone from my bank to me for their mistakes. Rubbish company.

I was also at the end of my tether with lastminute, they are extremely frustrating to deal with, and are unnable to understand that their customers are reasonable, intelligent people. It turned out that I knew more about online transactions than anyone at their customer service department seemed to. They simply took the money, claimed that they hadn't, and tried to get rid of me. They never even acknowledged that I'd booked a holiday with them.

After further investigation, they have charged me $450 for a $300 ticket, I called up the credit card company and I have filed to dispute this charge.

I spent all night trying to find just the right combination of flights to take an urgent, last minute trip to the USA from London. I then paid for the tickets using my MasterCard. I had booked and paid in full for February flights with BMI to Bombay through Lastminute. However, BMI cancelled the flight early in November. Lastminute offered to rebook me on a BA flight (1 inch less legroom), but only at the price I paid for the BMI flights; not the then current price for the BA flights, which was £100 less each. Got a confirmation via e mail saying that my bookings went through. Get to the airport the next day and find out my flights have been cancelled but the hotel booking wasn't. I booked a hotel with lastminute.com and then cancelled it myself. Lastminute say it's a coincidence that the hotel would have charged me, as their normal rate is £20 less than I paid. This £20 was then charged by Lastminute as a cancellation fee. My advice is to phone or email hotels directly for the best price and no cancellation fee… Read Full Review

This is the worst online experience I have ever had! After trying to book a weekend break with Last Minute I made it to the purchase page on their web site. It kept telling me that there was a problem with my transaction and suggested that I retry. I did this four times until I was told that my bank had rejected my transaction. I then found out that they had charged me four times (that's £4000), and at no point did I get a confirmation.
