I booked a trip via lastminute.com. I entered my information correctly, and received confirmation. Two days later, I was informed that my information was not correct. When I checked it, my billing address (in the USA) had been replaced by an address (in Surrey) which I had never seen.
I attempted to correct this on the site, but I could not. I attempted to replace the information and pay for my trip with another card, which the site told me was invalid (it is not, and has before and since… Read Full Review

We purchased a 1 week all inclusive to Turkey from lastminute.com. As the web site of the hotel in which we were scheduled to stay did not have any pictures of the beach, I called lastminute.com, and they confirmed that the hotel was located on the beach. FALSE: to access the sea (because there was no beach at the hotel), you had to go down some stairs from the platform and dive straight into the water. Having had several problems at that hotel (the rooms were small, the tennis courts were… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

This is the worst online experience I have ever had! After trying to book a weekend break with Last Minute I made it to the purchase page on their web site. It kept telling me that there was a problem with my transaction and suggested that I retry. I did this four times until I was told that my bank had rejected my transaction. I then found out that they had charged me four times (that's £4000), and at no point did I get a confirmation.
When I tried to get it fixed, their useless online… Read Full Review

I had a bad experience with Last Minute.com when I tried to cancel my hotel reservation.
I purchase three nights at a hotel three days in advance. I then had to cancel the reservation five hours later, and found that I was charged for the first night + tax.
They have a 72 hours policy starting to count at 12:01AM, 3 days before you check in. Thus, the 72 hours policy in reality is more than 72 hours. This is very important to keep in mind, because when I cancelled my reservation I was not… Read Full Review

I booked flights to South Amerca with Lastminute and paid by credit card. Within a few hours circumstances dictated that I cancel the flights. I phoned the company, followed the computerised pathway and, eventually, told that I would be transferred to an agent to discus the cancellation. Yet another computer appeared telling me to go to the website and fill in a form. I eventually found the form and filled in the details. I thought I would call the company to confirm. It took 45 minutes and a… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

It was my second time I was trying to purchase a flight ticket from Last Minute. However everytime I attempted paying for it I received an error message asking me to contact lastminute. It took me well over and hour to reach someone to find out why I was not able pay for the flight only to find out that the adviser herself was receiving the exact message and she could not confirm why. In an effort to purchase my ticket I tried the site about 4-5 times to see if the problem was sorted out in… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

I booked with last minute.com to Tunisia. We paid over £1200 for 7 nights All Inclusive at The Liberty Hotel in Skanes. 2 days later, after confirming online, they called us to say The Liberty was unavailable, and they asked "would we stay in The Thapsus in Madhia?" They told us that it would cost us a further £100. After confirming with the consultant that it had the relevant amenities for the children, such as a mini-club and mini-disco etc., we decided to go there. At check in with 3… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

I booked a weekend break in Rotterdam with Last Minute and have to say the price was amazing only £300 for the weekend including flight, hotel and insurance, total bargain. The ordering process seemed fairly straight forward Their customer service system is somewhat confusing as you can only contact them via email and the response was a little confusing (I assume the contact centre is abroad as the English left a lot to be desired). We got to the airport then we discovered that there had been… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

The booking of flights to and from New Zealand from the UK went very smoothly, with no problems. Unfortunately, after my passport was stolen at Heathrow Airport (after checking in and receiving boarding passes), Lastminute.com were completely unhelpful in getting the problem of re-booking new seats sorted out. This company seem good at selling holidays and flights, but if you have a problem, they are completely inept at helping you. Their customer service is next to useless. You have to email… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

I booked a flight for my family and paid with a debit card. They took money from my account immediately.
I waited for 5 days to get my ticket and then I tried to contact them. They told me that they are not able to complete my booking and will refund my money in 10 days.
Their contact number in the UK makes it impossible to speak to a person if you are calling to follow up a booking and their email correspondence is done from India and each reply takes one day.
In the end I am still waiting… Read Full Review

Booked flights, hotel and car parking through lastminute.com. None of the services I booked were particularly cheap. When I settled up at the hotel they charged me an additional 'tourist tax' (£7) because I booked through lastminute.com. When I got home and tried to retrieve my car from the pre-paid (through lastminute.com) on-airport NCP car park, they refused to accept the booking number supplied by lastminute.com. After arguing for 30 minutes I eventually had to pay again (£17)… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

We booked with lastminute.com to fly from Heathrow to San Francisco, and return from Los Angeles. The prices were the best we could find, and our confirmation arrived almost immediately. We could not find any other online service which allowed arrival and departure from different airports.
The confirmation (a six digit number and flight details) printed out to five sheets of paper. It could easily have fitted onto one sheet had it not been for all the unnecessary adverts… Read Full Review

Be very wary of Last Minute .com's "Top Secret Hotels" deal. Described as fabulous, 5* luxury but so secret their partners don't even want to put their name to them.
Wondering why? We booked 4 nights at a 5* hotel in Mayfair. It turned out to be a beautiful hotel in a quality chain, but currently undergoing major refurbishment. We checked out the recent reviews on the web and here's an example:-
"We were then sent to our '5 star room' to find the following;
.A hard hat next to the bed

I used Lastminute.com for the first time in February 2005, booking hotel accommodation in Bahrain.
I'm an experienced Internet user and regularly book hotel accommodation via the Internet.
The problem arose when checking out because the hotel wanted to charge me an additional 20% for local hotel taxes. Because I refused to pay until the matter had been reviewed by Last Minute.com, a rather embarrassing stand-off ensued in the hotel reception, compounded by subsequent delay reaching the… Read Full Review

I booked a hotel with lastminute.com to stay at the Jurys Inn Hotel for one night. The money went out of my bank account on the 08-06-05 for 3 double rooms. When we arrived on the 18-06-05, the hotel had received no booking. We had to pay again!! Despite several EMails, and calling the hotel. It is now 04-08-05 and I STILL havent received my money back. I have asked for the name and address of the managing director, but have been told they will not supply me with that information. My… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

In my experience Last Minute misleads, they offer hotels, that they say are four stars and they are bed and breakfasts, without even a lift, check the Williet hotel in London, and when the buyer, who has been taken for a ride, complaints, they do not answer. Last Minute.com is easy to navigate through, and they have some good package deals, but I would have though that you could find these deals a hell of a lot cheaper than this. I think this brand is well known, and I suppose that's why people use the site, but I would advise you to shop around if you're on a tight budget… Read Full ReviewVisit lastminute.com

My requirement from www.lastminute.com was a cheapish 2 day break to Paris, travel by Eurostar, and a comfortable hotel quite close to Gare du Nord.
In spite of snowfall threatening to spoil the trip and stop the trains from running, Lastminute.com came up trumps. £205 for the 2 of us to travel and a 2 night stay in a 3 star hotel a mere 10 mins walk from the station.
Here is an overview of the pros and cons of our trip. Before reading on, I am usually pretty unconcerned by the qaulity of a… Read Full Review
