NEVER USE THEM. I booked an AirFrance flight with ebookers, site appeared to provide a professional service. Sadly, I was disappointed. On the day of the flight, I needed to change the times, ebookers said it was unable to assist. I called AirFrance they said it could be changed on payment of £50 however I needed to do it through the agency. I called ebookers, they still said no it was not permitted by the Airline. “Hope you never have to call ebookers for anything...”

Hope you never have to call ebookers for anything other than a booking. I called to cancel a flight and get a partial refund. Luckily, I called the airlines about a week later to confirm the my flight was canceled. Ebookers didn't cancel my flight so i could look like a no show and not qualify for a partial refund which I"m sill waiting for over a year later. I tried to book a flight from Paris to Milan online through ebookers and after going through all the steps on the final confirmation it sent me back to home page, and no confirmation number, or email with confirmation. Just hope you do not have to call Ebookers or you'll be sorry. Also, it is a bad idea to get a cancellation insurance with them. They will almost never refund your money, because most hotels have a no-refund policy. It is hard to find this out, because most hotels work with different three-letter codes to indicate this. If a hotel has such a policy (which you cannot tell from the E-bookers site, you have to go to the website of the hotel) E-bookers will still ask you if you would like a… Read Full Review

Never been so disappointed with a refund service. I could not get through to a real person at Ebookers when I pursued a refund claim [which arose through no fault of my own]. The Ebookers prices were cheap but it ought to be given what you get. We booked two tickets together for a nine hour flight from London to Denver, but they seated us in different parts of the plane. When I rang to complain they told us that the airline allocated the seats, however we rang the airline who said that this wasn't the case, then we rang ebookers again who told us that if we checked in online 24 hours in advance then we could change the seats, which turned out to be another lie, so… Read Full Review

We booked a car through eBookers for our trip to South Africa. The booking specified a VW Polo or similar - it even had a photo of a VW Polo. However, when we got to Europcar we were informed that we booked the lowest class of car and that a VW Polo is 4 classes higher! It took us 2 days of phone calls from South Africa to the UK and all eBookers said was that we must speak to the local car hire branch. Booked a trip to Australia with stop-overs both ways on their website. Needed to change flights. Called. They told me I couldn't but they could cancel and re-book. I told them I could change flights. My flight from Bangkok to London is cancelled due to the current situation in Thailand. In search for refund to be I contacted ebookers who tells me to contact the airlines directly and the airlines tell me that only ebookers can speak with them for a refund. At the end, ebookers managed to get 18% of the total value refunded which is almost nothing. Booked a flight and car with ebookers. I personally found the homepage setup to be quite misleading. It does not seem to allow to change the pick-up and drop-off times when booking a car together with a flight. Had to pay an additional fee of '50 for late night pick-up. I was meant to be going to Tenerife and booked my flights to go there but unfortunatley it seems they booked us a flight to the wrong destination! Its only thanks to BA we got home. My young daughter was distraught we couldnt go on holiday. Im never booking with them again dont reccomend them and they didnt help even when I phoned from Bulgaria they said I would have to wait until I get back to london. I have bought from ebookers a pair of return flight tickets from Manchester to Rio at 9.30pm on Tuesday 9/9/2009. Shortly after I have found that the same ticket was cheaper elsewhere (eg, at lastminute.co.uk and expedia.co.uk). No problem, I thought, for ebooker offers a "Best Price Guarantee".

I booked 5 tickets to Dubai with ebookers. Ebookers got the names of the passengers wrong on the ticket, fault of the booking clerk, whose English was really poor. I contacted them immediately to inform them of the error. I cancelled a flight in November 2007 with Ebookers, I have phoned them on 7 different occasions for my refund of taxes which I believe I am entitled to. Each time I speak to a sales adviser they promise me I will receive this within 7 - 14 days, I have also emailed them requesting a refund. We booked a trip around 3,000 for 3 nights in a 5 star hotel towards US. All was confirmed via mail and suddenly we noticed that they redraw the hotel room. After 7 days phone contact with their client desk they wanted to make a last minute adjustment and put us in a 4 stars hotel.
