They was very unhelpful as my booking had an error on the page which made me start the transaction again. I tried to process again to later find out it had been booked twice and they took the money out of my account twice and at present time I am still trying to chase the money back with difficulty as they will not refund me. I would never use Ebookers again as they have a problem with their computers and will not accept responsibility for their actions.
I have spoken to my credit card… Read Full Review

All I booked with Ebookers was 2 simple return flights. I thought how difficult could that be? I called up the so-called 24 hour number to enquire. The flight was from London to Delhi ( India ). Considering I know this is where their call centre is based, I thought it would be quicker to do it over the phone, and they should be the most knowledgeable people to speak to. How wrong I was?
I knew the airline I wanted to fly with flew direct once a day, but the call centre worker assured me they… Read Full Review

I was given £800 worth of Ebookers gift vouchers as a wedding present. Turns out I cannot redeem them or rather, if i did, I would have to pay using a credit card and they would reimburse me with, more vouchers! So if I wanted to use my vouchers I would only end up with more useless vouchers.
Dealing with the call centre was impossible, when trying to book a hotel room, they didn't know what 'double room' or 'en suite' meant, or the meaning of a 'central' hotel (as opposed to one out near the… Read Full Review

I booked a super cheap direct flight from the US to Switzerland on Ebookers (ebookers.com). I had confirmation within 12 hours and called the airline to double check that I was in the system, after reading so many bad things. The flight was paid for on my credit card within one day and the airline confirmed that I'm in their system.
Great experience!… Read Full Review

Booked flights for Portugal 6 months' ahead with car hire. They changed my flights and offered a refund and still charged £35 to cancel the car hire that couldn't be used as they had changed my flights. Call centre cut me off 3 times in trying to transfer me (may have been deliberate).
Ebookers has gone downhill since they were taken over by Travelbag - used to be helpful, now just interested in charges - may be run by an Accountant as MD?… Read Full Review

The company promised to issue the ticket within 24 hrs but it actually took 5 days. I had to call every day and was always promissed that I would receive my e-tickets within 1 hr.
Very poor customer service.
I strongly advice that if you can avoid this company… Read Full Review

I tried to book flights with Ebookers from London to Sydney with a stopover in Hong Kong. EBookers appeared to have some good deals, although the site was hard to navigate (for example, the only site I have used where upon changing one criterion on your request, ALL the criteria get reset and have to be re-entered).
Eventually, my wife called and was told that although none of the deals advertised actually existed, they could do what we wanted for about an extra £200. They then called back to… Read Full Review

The customer service rep at Ebookers was awful. I clearly asked for the tickets only to be blocked, and booked only after my confirmation. But he sent me an email which says "inform and confirm the tickets". I was annoyed and replied not to book and not to charge me with out my go-ahead. Then I called to say I do not want the ticket, and I was told there would be a cancellation fee of £100. How can I be levied a cancellation fee for an unbooked ticket?… Read Full ReviewVisit ebookers.com

I thought I had my booking with EBookers, and then I had to check 27 hours later to find out I was not on the flight. I rang them and they promised to ring back or email. I am still waiting for a reply two weeks later. I would never use them again!… Read Full ReviewVisit ebookers.com

When I booked my ticket to the U.S. with Ebookers, the title on the ticket came out as MR instead of MS. I noticed it immediately, and I called immediately (while still on-line). They said it was "no problem to fix". How did they fix this? They purchased another ticket for me under MS and charged BOTH tickets to my credit card. When I discovered this and phoned them, they said I would be refunded as soon as the tickets were issued. I called when I returned from my trip two weeks later, and I… Read Full ReviewVisit ebookers.com

had a voucher for 150 for bad service from ebookers. Tried to use voucher to book flights. Forced to do so over the phone. My girlfriend wasn't aware of how close Stockholm was pressure sold into a flight via Prague which cost more than flying direct. This also mean that it takes 8 hours to get to Stockholm as opposed to two! Impossible to get hold of anyone to try and rectify it. Never use ebookers!… Read Full ReviewVisit ebookers.com

We booked through Ebookers, and all was good except one hotel, which we were warned was being renovated. The Royal Peacock, China town was so bad we had to complain. We did get moved to a so-called top grade room without extra charge. Even when told what parts had been renovated, we could not tell. It was so scruffy with poor workmanship, and choice of dark decor. I still haven't got through on the phone to inform Ebookers that this hotel is not up to standard… Read Full ReviewVisit ebookers.com

We tried to book a flight and hotel for five nights in New York with E Bookers.
As it wasn't a package, we thought it would be best to get everything booked together, or as close to together as possible.
The flights we chose was book and 24 hours wait for confirmation.
The hotel, which on ebookers, said rooms available on request - after booking the Email confirmation said you would have to wait 48 hours for a confirmation if they had rooms available.
48hours later, and Email comes through… Read Full Review

I booked four tickets for London -Shanghai 16 weeks before departure. Two weeks later (14 before departure) I had to change the names on two of the tickets. I asked Ebookers to do, they refused despite their terms and conditions saying they would on payment of £35. per person. I stated I was prepared to pay and referred them to their own terms. They still refused to change. I tried calling them, spent a fortune on calls, was promised a return call which never materialised. It was a big mistake… Read Full ReviewVisit ebookers.com

Ebookers are happy to take your money but should a problem arise. be prepared to be ignored, passed from person to person, get nothing but voicemail when you call, get no help from their customer services dept and on top of all that there is no address listed anywhere should you try and write with your complaint. I am told their agents, although operate on 0207 and 0208 numbers, are actually based in India. 4 weeks after booking and paying for a flight to cuba, when all hotels were sorted out Ebookers cancelled the booking, informing us by email that the company policy had changed.
On the 7th April my wife and I booked 2 flights to Cuba for July with Ebookers.com at a price of £533 each. Our Etickets were issued. We paid for them and then set about sorting out hotels etc.
On the 2nd May we were told (by Email) that they had changed the company policy and were no longer booking cuba -so our… Read Full Review

www.ebookers.com is totally unreliable. The customer service is designed totally to make you pay a deposit which of course they never return if there is a problem. I was promised tickets for a holiday to Sri Lanka and paid a deposit after an agreed price for the flights. Was then told oh sorry it was all booked and last 2 seats now more expensive - called Emirates direct and they said they had lots seats available. Not helpful when I complained about paying more.

My wife booked two tickets with Ebookers (www.ebookers.com) and immediately realised she had made an error in spelling of one of the names, putting an 'M' instead of an 'N'.
We immediately contacted them and were told action was being taken. It wasn't. It took two months, lies, misguided advice and over £70 to change that one letter. Basically the moment we made that mistake it was going to cost that much to put it right. Don't touch these people with a bargepole!… Read Full Review
