I bought the Ferguson FRG-120D DAB digital radio from Currys for £49.99 i.e. half the price it said. I had to take the first one back because the front panel had been stuck on at a wonky angle. Then I found that it hums in standby mode, which makes it no use as a radio alarm for my bedroom, ...

I think if someone had paid the same price for the Ferguson FRG-120D DAB digital radio as you would for the Pure Evoke, they would then have something to moan about.
You have to accept that you get what you pay for!

The Ferguson FRG-120D DAB Digital radio gives off a dreadful hum in standby mode; no good for bedside use because the noise drives you mad at night. Completely hopeless with batteries; drained in a day! No hum, though. A rubbish product. I exchanged the first one; now its replacement is off back to ...

I find I have nothing to review about the digital quality of the Ferguson FRG-120D DAB digital radio.
As yet I haven't received a single station, although according to the internet appraisal I should have a reasonably good reception on the majority of stations. FM isn't much better, with fuzzy re ...

Very disappointed with the Ferguson FRG-120D. We only use it every now and then but we find that after a few minutes the display changes itself to gobbldegook and none of the buttons work although the radio still plays. If you re-boot it (pull the plug) nothing works at all and the display is blank.

In one area, a school, I was unable to get even one station with my
Ferguson FRG-120D. This isn't a bad area, we have other DABs in the building.
In the town, I could pick up only fifteen of the stations, and most of these crackled and disappeared at times. An appalling model in my experience. ...

35 stations available in Doncaster but the Ferguson FRG-120D would only pick up six on a good day and none on bad day FM was poor also. It's going back this week.

I bought one of these Ferguson FRG-120D radios from Currys about a month ago. I specifically wanted a radio to use mainly in battery mode. The first one drained the batteries in less than 24 hours in standby mode, and I took it back. The Currys staff could not explain the problem and gave me a secon ...

I thought the Ferguson FRG-120D was a very good deal, as other radios in this price range didn't have stereo sockets. Also it offers FM as well as DAB, although I'm not sure why. In London it picks up about 20 stations. Like another reviewer, I would like to find out how to contact the manufacturer. ...

I already own a Pure Evoke 2 (superb by the way) and I wanted an extra DAB for the Bedroom so I opted for the Ferguson FRG-120D. This looked the part with its modern design and alarm clock facility, but alas, it would only tune into the BBC stations, and even then it was like listening underwater. O ...
