“Awful - do not use. Avoid”

Awful business, used to be good. Ordered 2 calendars for Christmas received just 1. Emailed their customer service. Standard response been busy and have continued to ignore further emails regarding the missing item paid for. Do not recommend - shocking service!

“Incorrect order”

I would leave 0 stars if possible I would leave 0 stars if possible. We ordered 12 x a1 size canvas prints for our new office. We ordered them all with the no wrap option (white sides) They all turned up with 95% covered edges (the white part not even in a straight line on some of them) We contacted customer services who firstly stated we ordered them with wrap. I sent them a screen shot of our order where they confirmed we had actually ordered no wrap. After numerous emails they said they would offer us a refund. However they have now refused and we will be forced to do a credit charge back. This is absolutely disgusting - I would not recommend this company to anyone. There satisfaction guarantee is a joke. They are the most unhelpful company we have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you are thinking of ordering from them be warned. We were dealing with an agent who is misleading.

“Awful site, awful service =awful product”

Difficult process and poor service I decided to have a canvas created of our Dachshund when he was a puppy for my partner on mother's day. I chose photobox and began the process. I am reasonably okay with tech but struggled with the site where it was impossible to place my picture where I wanted it without cropping my dogs head, ears, feet etc. I accepted an image to check how it would look and it looked fine so I ordered it. When the item arrived I was surprised to see parts of the head ears and feet etc all chopped. I complained to photobox attaching pictures of what I wanted and what I got. After taking an unreasonably long time to respond they basically said that it was my fault and they were not prepared to do anything.

“From Worse to Worse”

Obviously to save money, paper quality (GSM) has decreased considerably over the years to the point the calendar curls at the bottom. They reprinted using the same paper and now refusing to refund. The template has changed as well so you can no longer add text onto a picture in the date field. Go elsewhere. #Worstcustomerserviceever

“Poor Service”

I ordered a Photobook as a Christmas present well in advance paying for "Fast Delivery". I was informed via email the book had been dispatched however the courier indicated they were still expecting to take possession of the parcel from Photobox. When I contacted Photobox they indicated there had been a problem with my order and it wouldn't be arriving.

“Awful Service”

They make it up as they go along. I received an email to say that my order was despatched on 11 November and delivery would be 14 November. No delivery as of 16 November so I contacted them and they told me that it was despatched on 12 November by 2nd Class untracked post. I paid £4.99 for postage and the Royal Mail 2nd Class tracked and signed for parcel rate for an A3 calendar is £3.95. The Royal Mail charge for an A3 calendar sent by normal untracked post is £3.58 by 1st Class and £2.95 by 2nd Class. They charge for £4.99 for delivery but profiteer by using normal delivery They also tell me they would do nothing about chasing my order until 14 days had past. My first and last order with Photobox

“Awful service - ruined our gift”

Very poor service. Spent a day putting together a special photo book for my first anniversary. I checked a few days after ordering to make sure it would arrive on time - I was told it would. It didn't. In fact, it's still not arrived, despite an arrival date of 31st Oct. They left no time to make alternative arrangements. Offered no refund, despite admitting that they messed up big time. The gift is now null and void as the time has passed. We won't be using Photobox ever again and we suggest reading about how they don't take responsiblity when they mess up your special orders and look at alternative companies.

“UNACCEPTABLE!”

I ordered a Mug for my friends birthday with a photo of her and her husband. The mug arrived with the heads on the photo missing, only their bodies. How can quality control release this order. I have been unable to Live Chat with the company, phone number unreachable and my emails are not been answered. Absolutely shocking, Im so glad I haven't ordered expensive products. Will never use this company again.

Outrageous customer service. I wrote them an email expressing my concerns about the safety of ordering a gift for my 81 year old grandmother during the pandemic crisis. My two emails were ignored. That is a shame because their photo gifts are good

“Appalling ”

Ordered photo book in December 2019 guaranteed delivery (gift for my Son in Australia was visiting him over the holiday period) Did not arrive was extremely disappointing. On my return January 2020 emailed photo box regarding order did not receive any acknowledgment or response from email. Rang customer service no explanation other that Christmas was a very busy period full refund offered to be received within 3-5 working days even though I explained the account was closed I initially made payment from. As i suspected no payment received rang back a week later this time was told it was nothing to do with them it was Royal Mails fault?? Anyway basically I now have to wait for them to send a form I have to complete the form return the form and then will get a payment although no timescales and unhappy having to send personal information to such an incompetent company DO NOT ORDER

“Steadfast refusal to Reprint faulty prints”

My situation: I had a big batch of prints made by Photobox and delivered over a year ago. I checked a number of these packs and the photo quality seemed fine so i packed them away in a dark cupboard until I had the strength of will to open them up and start albumming them. When I did so I found that 50 or so of the 1,500 prints i had ordered were of shocking quality. They were out of focus and the colours all wrong. No relation to the original photos which were absolutely fine. It was clearly a factory/printing malfunction. When I got in touch with Photobox about this and explained ( all I was requesting was that these dodgy prints be reprinted, that was all) They stated that as this was out of the warranty period and there was nothing they could do. What shocking customer service. I paid a lot of money for 1,500 prints, 50 or so of which have clearly been printed extremely badly and they can't take responsibility for it. Very disappointed.

“Poor service 2018”

Pretty poor service. Despite ordering 4 or 5 day before their own get it for Christmas date the order still hasn`t arrived. Order out in 10th December 2018 and they stated posted 11th. Now 26th no order. No answer on phone. Sent 5 emails and 3 facebook messages. Nothing, Totally ignored. The took the money on the 11th, funny that. As you can see on other reviews this company do not care about its customs. I have spoken to my local print shop and they have agreed they will always match photobox prices if I go in and ask. This might be the way others need to go. Go talk to a human get a deal and walk away with your prints. Saves getting other peoples stuff too. ClownBox

“Dissapointed before xmas”

I ordered a E Gift voucher £30 on 9th December, unresolved by 24th December. voucher did not appear.. trying to get through to Photobox is like wading through treacle. once i got through on live chat x2 both people I dealt with gave me a number for an out-sourcer that deals with vouchers, managed to contact them who said they would resolve. no joy. I give in to be honest. awful service...

“Brilliant items ”

Absolutely fantastic quality, loved the ease of the site and the ability to edit the photos. The products are great, prices are excellent and the choice in styles and how to produce the finished article was great. Fast delivery and well packaged, plus they use a reputable delivery and not a cheap courier. I don’t think people on here realise that if you pick low quality pictures (which photobox warm you about) or stretch or enlarge them too much, that the quality will reduce. Pick the right pictures and use your brain and the product is magnificent. Also you know the price of postage and packaging before you buy so don’t moan. Parcel delivery and packaging isn’t cheap!!

“Wonky canvas ”

I ordered a lite canvas for a present to my Aupair. It had four pictures on of her and my children as a memory of her summer with us, I needed it for her leaving present. It arrived today and its so wonky its awful, I can give it to her. I don't mean a tiny bit wonky I mean I measured the difference and its a few centimetres different. I called them to see if they could send me a new one quickly so that I still had something to give her, but they said no they cant and that's it basically. I sent a picture of the canvas as requested and they agree its wonky. I have been offered a refund but no mention of any compensation etc. - really disappointing and now I am left without a present for my Aupair ... not a massive deal but frustrating ! I certainly wont be shopping there again.

I just received my second canvas today from photobox and wish I Haden ordered at all.the first canvas I received was large and rather pixalated,I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was large but I received a very small canvas today that is ment to be a gift and it is still very pixalated,I would not recommend photobox to anyone,it is a waste of a lot of money,both of my items were gifts for family members and I'm sop disappointed.

“Complicated website”

I have been happy with the photographs I received, however the website is probably the most user unfriendly and complicated site I have ever used. I could not review my order, it is difficult to select sizes and products easily and is overly complicated. I tried to contact the company for help but despite searching on the website for ages, couldn't find an e mail address or telephone number. Needs a lot of improvement.

Photobox have just done 2 books for Christmas presents. Their chat is briliant - communication waas great and I found them very helpful and informative. The delivery was outstanding, and where I have had a problem it has been explained and sorted.
