Marbles is a greedy, grabbing, worthless bank. How dare they casually rip us off. Having completely messed up themselves and been saved by tax payers they then turn on their own customers.

I am glad to have found this site as I have been staggered by Marbles recently. Firstly they withdrew my available credit limit from aroun 6k to 800 pounds. On the basis that I hadn't used this available credit, although the reason for this was that I had paid off the card, but did want to continue ...

Marbles card transferred from Beneficial in February. Did not activate it but asked for it to be changed to a signature card on 3rd March. They would contact me with response. Two months on I asked again with the same result - they would contact me. Shortly after I got a letter telling me that t ...

Marbles? Who makes up their policies?? Its about time the Government stepped in to tighten up credit card company tactics. They wrote to me to say they had increased my maximum amount limit....then 3 wqeeks later write to say the interest rate has been hiked to 30%. I hadn't activated the new card ...

Just received letter from Marbles Credit Card informing me of new interest rate 19.95% (not as high as some reviews - however significantly higher than most others). As I only put a minimal amount on the card and paid in full, I will pay off in full and not use again in protest at this action when ...

I do not understand why the Government has not stepped in to curb the ever increasing rise in Marbles interest rates; especially as they are linked to the Bank of Scotland. There is no legislation which can prevent their actions as the government has long supported mismanagement of financial markets ...

I had not activated my replacement Marbles Credit Card from Marbles because the interest rates were excessive. When I received a mail from them saying the rates were to increase even further, to almost 30%, I phoned to cancel. The operator was quick to deal with the request and asked if it was due ...

I've had no problems with Marbles until they changed to Aviemore. Since then I got charged £12 for being overdrawn even though I paid on time but the payment protection is taken out at a different time so took me over my limit, which they didn't tell me until I complained. Also my interest ra ...

Interest rate on my Marbles Credit Card has gone thru the roof, I'm now paying more interest than my minimum monthly payment. How do I get out of it. Phoned them to ask why they just said 2.5% of balance, 2.465% per ? = 33% APR. Why are these people so much more than any other credit card company.
