We switched to Homecall when it was competetive, but it appears to make no effort to stay so, either in terms of performance or price. I can't wait for the one year tie-in to end so we can switch to a company that can do the job.

I have been waiting to cancel my contract with Homecall since October 2005 and I am still connected! I have done everything correctly and sent a 30 day Notice informing them that I wish to cancel but this has been ignored along with numerous letters of complaint. The staff are rude and do not seem ...

I signed up to the Homecall Broadband/Telephone service in the start of June 2005. The telephone service was connected as promised within days, BUT the Broadband.
After a couple of phone calls I eventually got the connection established at the begining of July, on the day I went on holiday. 'BT h ...

As another reviewer has said Homecall Broadband has been a problem since day 1. I too unfortunately got others to sign up although thankfully their accounts have been straightforward so far.

Firstly it took them 2 months to connect me. This turned out to be because of the liaising between th ...

When I first subscribed to Homecall I went for the full package broadband, line rental and unlimited local and national calls (paid £10 extra). At the time it seemed good value for money. Since day 1 the connection speed has been terrible, when I reported it I was surprised to find they had im ...

I would like to warn everyone about the horrors of Homecall.

We were a client of theirs for 1 year and could not wait for our contract to end! Their customer service can not possibly be classified as service. Their technical department help I spoke to knows less about computers than I do (and th ...

WARNING: Homecall Broadband - P2P Speeds are now throttled (don't get high speeds with P2P programmes).

The reason for this is that they buy of Tiscali broadband who have decided to throttle the P2P.

I have been with Homecall for over a year, and the few times I have had to contact them they were friendly. Their technical department were very helpful, and I could at least understand them; not like BT who were my previous suppliers.

Homecall are inflexible in upgrading, which is to their discredit and my inconvenience. Sadly, in the early days I encouraged three others to join up.
