Bandwidth was throttled when I did some large downloads, despite the service being advertised as unlimited. Technical support first denied port throttling. Technicians were unhelpful. I decided to leave and go to Tiscali. I had done a 12 month contract period. Requested migration code. Despite many ...

I was with Homecall for 18 months with no problems and they gave a good service. However, I moved house recently, and at around the same time they were taken over. Speeds got progressively worse and nose dived after 9th September. All they want to do is run speed tests, but they can't seem to ever s ...

It is not possible to upgrade to a faster service, if you choose 1 meg you are stuck with it. Despite my protestations Homecall will not allow me to give them more money for a faster service! You can't cancel as the cancelleation fee is over a years subscription.
I guess the sooner that Pipex take ...

This service has been a disaster for me. Have spoken to numerous Homecall staff and have to repeat myself every time. After 40 calls it gets very frustrating. I keep getting phone messages when I'm out telling me that everything is fixed. This is rubbish. Has anyone experienced this problem wit ...

All Homecall are doing is reselling Tiscali Broadband.

Their "Unlimited Broadband" is not what it seems.
They think that any traffic over 7GB a week (upload and download which is not mentioned in the T&Cs either) is too much and then put you on a heavy user connection and don't tell you until yo ...
