    I have a Fiat Punto 55 S, just recently bought it & already the exhaust has blown, head gasket blown, clutch has gone, having hydraulic problems. I'll never buy another Fiat again, I was warned but love Puntos, well I'll know for the next time.

    I've had 3 Puntos, no trouble at all with the earlier models but this latest one, the Fiat Punto 1.2 ELX, has been a living nightmare.     When I looked at Fiats, I was a little hesitant about them, but after the test drive I was very impressed.     My Fiat Punto 1.2 ELX City Car lacks power steering, which at the time wasn't standard. It also lacks ABS. This can make life tough.
