I have had my Ford cougar V6 24v 1 year only. I was put off by some quotes for tyres but I have just put two 205 55 / r16 tyres on the same axle which cost 45 quid each instead of 75 quid plus, which I had been offered before

I did have a V6 Mondeo Ghia X before it went bang (Head Gasket), so I knew what the V6 would be like. My Cougar is an Auto so very smooth with the V6 and really nice to drive. I like the looks, it means you can have a family size car that is a bit different. The boot is huge, more so with the rear s ...

For a dated car the Ford Cougar V6 24v can still get away with it. I've had my 2.5 for just over a year now and continue to enjoy the car. I like to think of it as a powerful cruiser with something under the bonnet when you need it. Likes a drink but what do you expect from a V6. Overall, a lovely m ...

Nice car for the money paid. Very practical and reliant, but don't let dealers/owners deceive you into thinking this car is economical - this car likes to drink petrol and will keep you poor. This car is also rare, so rare to me equals rare parts, even though other parts will be cheap, and finally t ...

The Ford Cougar V6 24v is OK for a family man, or someone who is thinking in terms of becoming Captain Sensible, but I am used to Mazda MX6 Celica etc. and this car for performance came nowhere near, despite the 2.5 V6 engine.

Love my Ford Cougar V6 24v totally except not knowing whether they have a problem with their water pumps or coolant leaks. Other that this little problem, every thing is fantastic. Looks, handling, comfort, fuel economy as I do about 50,000kms per year. Love my car!

I have had my Ford Cougar V6 for 8 months now. I must say I am very pleased with it. Sounds absolutely brilliant, always turns heads at traffic lights! A lovely fast car, and isn't bad at drinking petrol.

I've had my Ford Cougar for about 6 months and absolutely love it. If you're looking to race every car on the road then this isn't the car for you - buy an RS. This is a luxury car that has enough power to enjoy the roads with (0-60 in about 8sec - top speed 140+ mph). These cars are very good and c ...
